Review Time
I recognized the time was right for us to get a home warranty plan, but I'd heard too many bad stories about the quality of service associated with such plans. It was Jacci and Mike Milo, good friends of ours, who spoke about their AFC contract. They convinced me to check you out. I also checked out other companies. Some were cheaper, some promised the world, or gave exceptional discounts, but they couldn't match the service legacy of AFC. Kevin was very helpful to me in sorting through the options available and choosing the best plan for us. He even threw in a couple of extras. I am very pleased with our purchase and look forward to receiving the excellent service I've heard about.
I will tell you that the sales person was great. Then reality set in when someone I know found out that they DO NOT cover you AC unit if it's to old. None of this information was shared before signing up with AFC. For me this is deception to the customers and should be referenced by management. (Just be honest)
My microwave went on the blink. I assumed were either going to fix it or replace it as has been the case with other home warranties I have used.On the contrary, I am told that I will be given $100 And that I have to go out and buy the new microwave and have it installed! The microwave costs $350 plus tax and the installation is $75. What kind of service is this? I am so frustrated! What’s the point of a warranty if they’re not even covering a quarter of the cost to replace it!!!
This company picks and choose what they cover, this is not what they stated when they sold me the coverage.....take forever to return your call and customer service is terrible. I would never use them again. They are twice as expensive and offers so little, what a big disappointment. Terrible company.
David is not the norm either, he has excellent customer service skills. He is definitely the best guy for this job. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Don't ever let him go, he is very knowledgeable, friendly, and tremendously valuable to AFC Home. Give this man a raise please, it's probably well overdue.
