I bought a pair of Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined on February 10, 2024. I did not check the shoes properly, a mistake that I will not make again, thinking that they would not send me broken shoes and since I was not going to use them, I wanted to have spare ones because I had gotten them at Nike as well. On December 22, 2025, when selling them through Vinted, the buyer canceled the purchase because upon reviewing the photos he realized that the mesh was broken. Some photos that I had taken a week after they arrived to me. I wrote to the store to ask them to give me a solution that meets at least the two-year warranty of the European Union. However, they say that they are not obliged to even replace the shoe. nor to fix the mesh, nor to return the money, all of this combined with the fact that they force me to pay for the return shipping, when the mistake was theirs. They offer me a voucher for the amount to spend more in their store, which I don't trust, or a 10% discount in their store and keep the broken shoes. A shame about customer service.
There is no transparency on the additional cost for UK customers in terms of potential extra charges for UPS handling fees and import duties when doing a transaction online. Received a UPS invoice weeks later, which added 50% to the sales price. Not showing any information about additional costs and what those are during the sales process is hardly a best practice. There is a one-liner somewhere in the small print in the terms on the website, but you would have to look for it. Other retailers are managing the Post Brexit process and customer relations much better and with transparency. Will stay well clear in future.
