Got my kit. Super excited. Snapped the WR code and was taken to the Chinese version of their site. Received an invalid code message was forwarded to web site. Could not sign in or sign up for an account. So frustrating. Reached out 5 days ago for help no return message from support. This is the worst case scenario. I will never waste my money on this company ever again. It’s a hard no from me.

Purchased two watches from DIY watch club, one for myself, and one as a gift, and some modding components. The engraved rotors were well done, the additional second hand also very good, but the chapter ring is a no fit. Several e-mails have resulted in no replies. The watches themselves are in my opinion good average timepieces, and the novelty value of completing your own watch is good, but get a problem, forget it. There is no after sales service. Shame, I would have probably bought another, but not now. Consider this before you dive in.
Bought the 40mm Skeleton Dive watch kit with standard tools. Very happy with the quality. Came nicely packaged and the video tutorials were very clear. No issues building the watch in 1.5 hours at a gentile pace with lots of pauses for photos but I would strongly advise getting the second hand installation tool as that bit would be tricky otherwise. End result looks fantastic. I would personally recommend.
I custom ordered every part of a watch (first of all, a very fun process). As I had layed my order, I received an email fra Rachel, informing me, that I had ordered a wrong size strap. I wrote back, that both straps I'd ordered seemingly was the correct size. She meant that I had ordered different size strap bars, but that was correct :-)As I then inspected my order I saw, that I'd ordered a serperate bezel wich already came with the case I'd ordered. She then cancelled the bezel and after a few days I received a refund for that. The whole order came after just 3 work days and the parts are very high quality and easy to put together. Can highly, HIGHLY recommend DIY watch club if you want to assemble your own watch, and I don't think it's the last time I order from them :-D
Sent a kit with clear malfunction in that the stem would not lock into place. I emailed DIY Watch Club explaining the problem. They replied with an unrelated email of a different problem which I said was unhelpful. They then requested a video of the problem, to which I responded was not only technically impossible without three arms, but could not help solve the issue as the problem was with the stem and the mechanism engaging with movement, which could not be seen, without disassembling the movement, so would only show the stem slipping in and out without engaging. This could not help with diagnosing the problem as it could not be seen. At this point they stopped responding to emails. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS 'club'. They are impervious to complaints and just strung me along. They offered no help or replacement of the faulty movement. So I am left with a tableful of useless tools and parts. Note they do not even supply a movement holder in their kit.
