Flight delay without fail, why even bother scheduling the flight when you can't even make it on time. Is there a traffic jam? Always a disappointment, would stop choosing air asia from now on. Rubbish company.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused." After contacting their support chat and talked to their bot got reply that i am not eligible for refund, money wasted and no refund.

Air Asia used to be very good pre-COVID but now their app is complicated and slow to use. Somehow it changed the dates that I'd chosen for my flight and I unwittingly booked flights for the wrong date. I quickly saw the error when I received the booking confirmation email but there is no way to contact a person at Air Asia to fix the problem. The only option is to pay the same price to update the booking to the correct date. I chose the correct date when I made the booking, so this is very unfair. I will travel by train instead and I will not fly with Air Asia again. Such a shame - Tony Fernandez was a very good CEO and built a great low-cost carrier. Those days are over. I hope somehow that Tony Fernandez gets control again and brings back the Air Asia we loved.

Avoid AirAsia if you have better options! Frequent flights delay and last min. Reschedule are norm to them. Poor customer service, unfavourable pricing. They will seize chances to charge you on overloaded baggage even though it’s exceedingly slightly at the weight of 800g.

Suggest opt for scoot if u have tight budget !

In January 2026 I bought a ticket to Sydney from Istanbul with a stop over at Kuala Lumpur. Before my departure date I bought extra baggage but In Kuala Lumpur I was charged extra baggage even though I had paid initially when my ticket was to Sydney from Istanbul. As a result I ended up paying triple the amount for an extra 10 kgs. Customer service at Kuala lumpur was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I WILL NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINES EVER AGAIN AND ADVISE ANYONE ELSE WHO IS CONSIDERING TO CHANGE THEIR MIND!!

About 10 years ago AirAsia was my favorite Asian low-cost airline. What the company has turned into now is simply a disgrace. Making mistakes is normal; completely ignoring your customers’ complaints is not. For years now people have been complaining about the glitchy website where it’s impossible to find anything, and about the useless chatbot that makes you want to punch your computer after trying to communicate with it. Is the airline doing anything to fix the situation? No, they’ve completely brushed off their customers. I've never encountered such blatant disregard for passengers anywhere else.

My familly ruined the trip because your flight we cant go to our destination we want . When you delay pls dont sent the email to us while you dont inform us when you opend checking . One more thing you should have to call to customer when customer not yet come to check-in . Because your re schedule can make customer misunderstnad and missing the flight . And pls have a good solution to customer instead to try to blame customers. I trust you thats why I choose your service but is opposite what I expected from your. I not only lost money but I wasted time with your poor service . Is a herrible day in my life.

My Frustrating Experiences with the Airline

I want to share two of my experiences with the airline. I booked a flight from a city in India to a destination in Thailand via another city in December 2025. The flight was delayed by two hours due to a technical issue, making it extremely stressful to catch my connecting flight. I managed to make it, but it was a very stressful experience. For my second flight with the airline from one city in Thailand to another in January 2026, I arrived at the airport two hours before departure. However, the organization of the queue was slow, confusing, and lengthy. I finally reached check-in just 30 minutes before my flight. They then sent everyone for another bag scan, requiring me to queue again. During the scanning process, I was informed that I had a lighter in my bag wrapped in foil. I was unaware that I couldn't carry a lighter in a checked bag, as this is typically allowed in Europe. I had to unwrap the foil, remove the lighter, and hand it over. By this point, I was already delayed for my flight. Overall, the process and handling of clients at the airport were slow and inadequate. It was a crazy and stressful experience flying with this airline. I can't provide a positive review based on this poor and stressful situation.
