I’m traveling from st Lucia to Grenada after a five (5) days vacation in st Lucia and the inter Caribbean attendants at the counter at the George .F.L. Charles airport on the 15th February 2026 at 10am flight # jy715 to Barbados were very unprofessional and displayed extremely poor customer service. They should have more customer service training and be more informed of different types of travel documents used in the region if uncertain of same. Based on experience I doubt I would be traveling with inter Caribbean in the near future.

Flew from SL to Dominica. After reading reviews we were a bit nervous about using them. Whole experience was faultless. Easy check in, pleasant crew and arrived 30 mins early (with all baggage present and correct!). Can’t ask for more This was despite some pretty stormy weather too.
After reading all this terrible reviews I was sceptical but after several flights this holiday season I am positively surprised. Friendly people all over and of course tha planes are not new but it got us where we wanted to go. With luggage and all . Some small delays but overall a good experience .
We had the most dreadful stressful experience with InterCaribbean Airways and will NEVER fly with them again.25 minutes before check in closed at Nassau airport en route to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos the check in person demanded that we present the credit card used for the booking. We booked through a travel agent in the UK who used their credit card. Luckily the UK agent was available and on 10 minutes notice was able to email copies of the credit card and their ID to the check in person. The check in person was abrupt rude and totally lacking in customer facing skills. This airline to be avoided - our experience was simply awful and stressful. We wrote to their customer service department who never had the courtesy or professionalism to reply
If zero stars were an option, I’d use it without hesitation. We flew interCaribbean from Puerto Rico to the British Virgin Islands and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. When we arrived, half of our luggage was missing. Only after landing were we informed—by staff who were dismissive and unhelpful—that if baggage “doesn’t fit on the plane,” they simply send it the next day. This “policy” is disclosed nowhere during booking or check-in.When we explained that we were scheduled to leave on a boat the following morning, the only response we got was that they’d “send it to the hotel.” That was it. No explanation of how that would help, no contingency plan, no ownership of the problem they created. Just a canned line and a shrug. Apparently once your bag is missing, you’re no longer their concern. The chaos started even earlier at check-in, where we waited nearly three hours to be processed. Three hours of disorganization, confusion, and watching staff who appeared completely untrained fumble through basic tasks. That should have been our warning. Then there’s the aircraft itself, which was genuinely alarming. The window in our row was literally coming loose, the shade wouldn’t stay up, and while we were sitting on the tarmac we could smell engine fumes being pulled directly into the cabin. This wasn’t just uncomfortable—it felt unsafe and raised serious questions about aircraft maintenance and oversight. Are these planes inspected by any legitimate aviation authority?I see interCaribbean is proudly “celebrating 10 years in business.” Frankly, that’s shocking. Given the operational incompetence, the condition of the aircraft, and the complete disregard for passengers, it’s a miracle they’ve lasted this long. This airline managed to combine lost luggage, extreme delays, questionable safety, and total indifference into one unforgettable nightmare. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company, and I strongly encourage anyone reading this to avoid this airline unless you enjoy chaos, stress, and wondering whether your belongings—or your safety—matter at all.Avoid at all costs.
One hour early to flight from eis to sju. No one at counter…they show up about 25 minutes later to tell me check in it is closed and i have to rebook (plane still on tarmac and didnt leave for another 40 minutes later) have lived here for 26 years and this never has happened, worst customer service
want to raise a serious complaint about my experience with InterCaribbean Airways regarding a travel credit.I originally paid $408.53 for a ticket.Shortly after, I was given a credit of $258 following deductions. When I tried to rebook a one-way ticket from San Juan to Tortola, the fare shown was only $157.Instead of applying my credit properly, InterCaribbean told me I would need to pay an additional $138 on top of the ticket cost — which makes absolutely no sense.Throughout my emails with customer service, I was given inconsistent explanations:At one point, I was told my available credit was $258.Then, I was later told only $135.82 was available.Eventually, I was informed that only $134.73 (taxes) was eligible for use, and the rest was forfeited. This is extremely misleading and unfair. I specifically confirmed with an InterCaribbean representative earlier that I could use my travel credit for my return flight, yet when I attempted to do so, I was asked to pay almost the full ticket price again.Key Issues:Lack of transparency in how credits are calculated and applied.Poor communication and conflicting responses from customer service.Customers left paying more than the advertised ticket price despite having valid credits. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and does not build trust. I urge InterCaribbean Airways to:Review how my credit was calculated and applied.Provide a fair resolution by honoring the travel credit as originally communicated.Improve transparency and consistency in handling customer claims.Traelers in the Caribbean deserve clear, fair, and honest treatment — not hidden charges and confusing policies. The employee name was Debbie.
