I booked Park & Ride parking but cancelled it less than an hour later because I changed my mind. Despite cancelling so quickly, £12 was deducted from the refund. On top of that, you also have to pay the £12 airport drop-off charge. With these extra costs and deductions, it doesn’t feel like good value for airport parking. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!
This is a very dodgy company. Trading as Smartmeetandgreet Ltd. DO NOT USE.We booked for meet and greet and parking for one day at Stansted Airport. AFTER we booked online we had an email saying we had to pay an extra £10 for car park entrance and £10 exit fee. £20 extra to the quote.We arrived at 5am to Orange short stay car park for handover. There was no signage to say where to meet in a packed car park. Eventually we had to ring them and they said they were at row H. Two men were standing there, they had no branding or even yellow tabards. They made us pay the entrance fee before they would take our car key. All a bit random. They clearly weren’t official P & R sanctioned by Stansted.When we came to pick up we phoned after the plane landed. They said it will be an hour before we could have the car. When we went to where we had handed over there was nobody there. We had to ask random people if they worked for Meet and Greet. Nobody did. Eventually our car turned up. The driver handed us the key and the car park exit ticket to pay and then disappeared.The car was covered in mud and the Dash Cam had been ripped off with the cable hanging down from the roof. They had used 1/4 of a tank of petrol and the mileage seemed higher by about 200 miles. They obviously did not want us to see what they had done with the car during the day and may have been using it for transferring drivers to whichever field they were keeping it in or, as someone suggested to me lending it to a courier mate who used it for deliveries during the day. AVOID
What a scam these people are running. I used airportparkingdeals. They are just a middle man skimming. Payment was made to another company called Tekono. I have given more than 72 hours notice of my cancellation and they want to take almost half of it for a cancellation fee. Absolute crooks. I wish I could really express myself in this review the good old fashion way. DO NOT USE THEM.
This is my experience:1. On my way out I followed the instructions and called 25 mins before arriving at the airport, but despite numerous attempts, I could only get through once I arrived at the airport. Nobody answered the phone, they did not listen to the messages either, so I had to wait around 30 mins - I always leave sufficient time when flying so no a problem, but take it into consideration if you plan to book with them.2. on my way back I ignored the instructions - they say to call only once baggage has been collected- and I called as soon as I landed. I got off the plane, went throuh security, collected baggage... I still waited another 30 mins.3. Car was absolutely disgusting, full of mud everywhere out and in- you would expect them to put some protection on the inside if they park it on a muddy field, they don't. You woul expect them to get in and out carefully to avoid unnecessary mess, again, they don't, door lining was also full of mud, there was mud even in the steering wheel.4. You have to pay extra to get in and out of the airport, but that is explained when you book.All in all, more inconvenient than just booking a parking with a transfer, in my experience is quicker, more reliable and you park in tarmac not in a muddy field.
At Heathrow this company needs alot of polishing from customer service and communication.. Also not mentioned I had to pay £7 when collecting car from the drop off.. When actually says in their print collect car from level 4 Sand R row..They don't answer phone Quicky and my usb cigarette charger is missing from my vehicle..Not worth using very unprofessional company.. Should be reported..
I booked parking at Stansted through this company disguising under umbrella of Meet & Greet. Later when I read the procedures of checking in and collecting a car, I realised that this is a dodgy company: you leave the car to some unknown people, they take it god knows where, and you may not see your car again. Cheap price tricked you; you need to pay extra (unknown amount) on both entry and exit. Finally, when I decided to cancel my booking the "company" did not give refund because it was less than 72 hours before the flight. I am going to report to my bank and claim the refund of payment given to illegal company, and I would like to give a warning to others.
I was lead to believe I was booking the meet and greet service at Stansted airport- only when I made payment I found out you have to pay another £10 to enter the short stay car park - phone a number and someone will meet you and take car. Only then did I google this company and read that many people had to wait a long time for a driver and I have no idea where they take your car. I cancelled by email and despite taking out free cancellation insurance for extra I eventually was told I would only be reimbursed for part of my payment as they levy a £20 cancellation charge.To date I have not been refunded!!!
New Year return to UK 12 Jan 2026.After a long break away on holiday & returning to UK, it was really great to discover that a reliable company would be returning my vehicle promptly at the airport terminal.Once I collected my luggage & made the call, my vehicle was with me at the car park within 30mins.Driver was polite & courteous.I found the service excellent 👌 & will definitely be using this service again in the future.Thanks for an excellent service.Regards Tony
