I ordered an awning from them. When I input all my credit card information, there was a problem with my card. I tried again and this time my card went thru. I got a screen telling me that my order was complete. I thought I was good. Little did I know the prior order also went thru without my knowledge. I never got an email confirmation for either attempts. I just received TWO awnings, same product. I called and was told that I had to take it to someone to ship back. I paid $259 for each awning and my return shipment on UPS was going to be $220. I called ALEKO and they would not do anything to help me. I am very disappointed with their service with no acknowledgement of how this was all done. I am NOT HAPPY 1) because when I ordered, the system messed up and I NEVER got an email confirming the first order nor the 2nd one as well and, 2) NOW do to their screw up, it is not worth me trying to send the product back. NOT a good way to run a business! Next time, I will stick to AMAZON where I can return stuff more easily.
I would never do business with Aleko again. They have the absolute worse customer service I have ever seen. Their tech support is clueless to how their products work. The directions for how gate openers and accessories need to be installed were either non existent or the diagrams on them did not correspond to my opener. Tech support took days to answer emails and then sent out right incorrect information. They do not answer phones and we actually got a recording that said your phone number has shown up too many times today. I am not kidding. It is clear to me that they just don't care.BEWARE!!!!!
Purchased an inflatable hot tub for use indoors only - approximately 3 months of the year. Outside of that it is stored away in its factory bag, indoors and safely climate-controlled. After 1 year, the tub's heating element completely failed. They immediately cast me as "out of warranty" but did me a "favor" by allowing me to purchase a replacement pump/heating unit at a discount of $175 (for a $475 tub.) They had no available resources or documentation for servicing the tub, and instead literally emailed me a YouTube link to a video of a product nothing like the one I have (and one they were able to identify by model information provided by me.) After "figuring it out", I was able to replace the unit and re-assemble, only to be greeted by severe leaks internal to the new pump unit. They have now completely dismissed my situation as a too bad, so sad, out of warranty. I got 3 months use out of a tub that is literally babied. The company does not pay any attention to what is said or relayed in communication, they do not stand by their product, and they have, on the whole, provided one of the most ruthless and unacceptable customer experiences I've ever encountered.Note: A similar Intex unit I purchased at the same price point 2 years prior is still standing to this day in an outdoor environment in New England, and it works wonderfully. Stay AWAY from Aleko. Spend your time, money and frustration energy elsewhere.
I purchased a 6 person square hot tub in 2021. It popped multiple times. When waiting for a replacement I waited for a year and still have not yet received a replacement. If you are going to purchase an inflatable hot tub, don’t purchase one from Aleko.
Purchased STHE6GLEN-1 sauna and found the following issues/concerns1. Board near top of right side bench support was installed at an angle preventing installation without machining2. Doll pin location on right side bench support and right side bench did not match up3. Doll pin locations on right side bench and where it attaches did not match up4. Slots in top and bottom plate for glass on either side of door were too narrow to fit glass panels5. Cannot get frame lined up properly for roof panels to fit correctly. Trim on both panels are way off from one panel to the other and one corner of each is not wall ledge6. Heater is supposed to install under right side bench with only 10-12" from bottom of bench. Heater nameplate specifies at least 44" to combustible materials and this appears to be a fire hazard7. Back and right side panel connections to each other is very weak with misalignment at top8. Over center clamps for connection of corners to panels are very flimsy. Loops bend out of shape allowing gaps and retainer to hold down let go when the sauna is bumped.9. Material is missing to seal side glass panes to the ones on either side of door10. Manual is the worst with no accurate description of how to assemble.11. Company is impossible to get in touch withBeware I would give zero stars if I could
We bought our gate openers and Gate from Aleko online. We love the gate and openers until the temperatures dropped to roughly 20 degrees. The gate openers would not open. We were locked in out driveway until the temperatures warmed up. I contacted the company and we exchanged emails, pictures, and videos back and forth over 2 months explaining the problem. the Owners manual says they work down to Minus 4 degrees F. They do not. The customer service is terrible and they do not stand behind their products. They told me they do not have engineers on staff. I mean how do you make these products and not have an engineer on staff? Do yourself a favor and don't do any business with this company. The openers freeze up in cold temps. Avoid this company at all costs
My first sauna review on the actual purchased item on Alekoproducts.com from 2022 wasn’t published, so I tried again Jan. 2023. It wasn’t published either, but Aleko is using one of my sauna pictures on the product description on their website! Trustpilot is my last resort to get heard.I purchased a 6-person outdoor sauna in February 2021. I took 4 stars off for the following reasons: The first issue was the delivery. After ordering, I was told that it cannot be delivered closer than Knoxville, TN or Greenville/Spartanburg, SC. Both locations are about 2 hours away from my home in Western NC. I was given a $150 refund to arrange my own pickup which cost significantly more, plus the crate was damaged. Luckily, nothing inside was damaged, but we did not know that until we unpacked it at home. The second star that came off is for the quality of the sauna. For an outdoor sauna AND the price, I would have expected better quality. After assembly, ALL seams had to be caulked or sealed to weatherproof the side panels, corners, windows, and door. The floor panels are very thin and you can feel and see it move when walking on it. I recently added a second layer with interlocking wood tiles. The third star came off for the benches not as pictures on their website. The bench walls and seats are solid and not latticed; therefore, there is no airflow behind the benches and the wood "sweats". When I lift the solid bench seats after use, I can see the condensation. The last star came off because we are having trouble with the heater. It was installed by a licensed electrician as directed, but the automatic shutoff keeps going off before reaching the max temperature (194F). It usually shuts off around 186F. I then have to wait for the sauna to cool off enough to reset the button before the heater will come on again. The 1 remaining star is for the look of the sauna, which I love and for its limited function (after making all the adjustments).
March 2021 my “four person” inflatable hot tub was purchased as a gift, it was not unpacked and set up for use until this summer, 2022. This month I have discovered several air leaks in the tub and have attempted to patch them, unsuccessfully. I got in contact with Sabina from support who provided the only troubleshooting answers she had, unfortunately all unhelpful, and informed me that due to the lapse of warranty there was nothing more Aleko could do for me. I am beyond disappointed. I thought with careful, diligent maintenance and attention I could get at least a couple good years of use out of a temporary hot tub while saving up to buy a more permanent option. Instead I was only able to use the tub for a few months, and now I am still paying installments for a product I will be discarding. The pictures show deflation less than an hour after completely filling with air.
