Ordered from this company and it took over a month to get arrive to me. One of the items was damaged and I had to go through the refund process which was also delayed a week between each email they would reply to. Finally when I got an E gift card to buy a new item in replacement (which I didn’t want), it took another 4 weeks to get to me. This item (earrings) was also damaged. I complained about their packaging being terrible the first time because it’s just in an envelope, and it was the same the second time. I have ordered from this company a year before and only experienced long shipping delays. Now I will never buy from this company again. Absolutely trash products, quality is low, very inconsistent, very slow processing time, and poor customer service. Don’t give them your money.
My order took an entire month to arrive, which is surprising since I received faster shipping from China! They also removed a $55 gift that was on my receipt, and to top it off, offered me a $5 gift card for their platform, which felt ridiculous. Their support center is just filled with chatbots, and after placing my order, I started receiving at least two spam or promotional emails daily. In short, they seem to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction, selling low-quality items. It's no surprise they faced bankruptcy in 2021.
I placed an order on November 30th and still haven't received the items I intended for thoughtful Christmas gifts. There have been no tracking updates, and when I contacted the support team, they suggested I check outside for a missed package. The customer service was poor, making for an unfortunate experience. I used to enjoy the variety of fun items offered, but now I’m disappointed. Fortunately, I managed to order from another platform and received an alternative for one of the missing items. I recommend saving your time and money by choosing from one of the many other appealing online boutiques. This experience was disappointing in every aspect.
I've ordered from this company before, but my latest experience has been the worst by far. I placed an order on November 3rd for seven pieces of jewelry. They claim to ship within three business days, yet I saw no movement while tracking my order. I had to sign up for a tracking service, and even then, there were no updates. They don't provide a customer service number, and the only way to get their attention seems to be by posting something negative on social media. I emailed their support team on December 10th and got a response the next day stating that one item was out of stock and had been canceled, while the rest were being prepared for shipping. On December 16th, I reached out again because my items still hadn't shipped, but received no reply. On December 20th, I finally got an email saying that my items had shipped, but only four of them were included. The item I really wanted was, once again, out of stock. This situation is incredibly frustrating since I placed my order over a month ago. How could this happen? Then, on the 22nd, I received another email stating that the four items were preparing to ship. I have no idea what's happening over there, but this service is unacceptable and feels deceptive. It's disheartening because I've enjoyed previous orders, but this has been far too much. As of December 23rd, exactly one month after my order, I still haven't received any of my items.
Alex and Ani is a dishonest company that uses predatory sales tactics. Orders go unprocessed for weeks at a time and agents claim the status does not allow them to cancel or refund, that is both dishonest and against their own TOS. There is a big indication that manufacturing has been outsourced outside of the US as well, giving them for more freedom for inflated pricing markup.Steer clear of these scumbags
Been 15 days so far since i ordered the polly pocket necklace. No estimated date for shipping or delivery. No update to shipping other than label created. Contacted customer service about estimated day. Got an automated response that they'd reply in 2 days. They did, said they'd check with the shipping people and would get back to me. Next email i get is a survey about their customer service (not including all the ads they send). Nothing about my order. Will give it a bit more time but so far ick and debating about disputing the charge.

That they'd cancelled this item and the rest are preparing for shipping. One December 16th, I messaged AGAIN because my items still hadn't shipped. There was no response. On December 20th, I received an email that my things had finally shipped and it was only 4 of the items. The one that I really wanted was, again, out of stock. This is infuriating because I placed this order over a month ago at this point. How did this happen? Then I received yet another email on the 22nd saying that the 4 items were preparing to ship. I have no idea what's going on over there but this is terrible service and feels scammy. This is sad, because I've ordered things from them previously that I enjoyed but this was way too much. It's currently December 23rd, exactly one month after my order and I have received none of my items.
This company has a serious customer service problem. The sad thing is they could save return customers if they were more proactive with their communication about delays and stock issues, but they wait 2 months and ignore the customers outreach (I tried 3 times) to leave customers pissed off. It would help to be able to talk to a human instead of getting automated messaging that they're receiving too many emails -- open up new channels of support & deflect volume to a bot so your humans can handle return customers who are pissed!! They clearly don't run quality assurance on customer convos. I won't purchase from them again and would not recommend it.
