All Bar One in Covent Garden.....

All Bar One in Covent Garden.....Shocking all round and absolutely no customer service at all. Table we were to be seated at was vaguely pointed out to us.... menus were thrust on to the table and we were told to scan the code to order. App was not working so eventually managed to get a waitress over to ‘help’ us. She tutted out loud when my phone was not fast enough for her. App continued to not work and nobody was available to advise after 20 mins of waiting and asking for help.Toilets were dirty and busy. Restaurant was far too noisy and nobody seemed to care about the diners. It seemed to be ‘order a take away in a restaurant’. Would far prefer to order a take away from the comfort of my own home. Not what you expect when dining out at all. We were so frustrated by the app and lack of support that we left before ordering anything and found a fantastic independent alternative. I would be very surprised if any staff members even noticed us leaving. I have been a frequent guest at multiple All Bar One restaurants in the past and have loved my experiences. This has put me off for life ,and it is safe to say I will not be visiting one again. I’m not sure if the company has got it all wrong (I know how hard it’s been with Covid) or this particular restaurant is just lacking in customer care but it was hugely disappointing.

Raw chicken and terrible service

Had a terrible experience at All Bar One Southampton. We waited 45 minutes for food - I order katsu curry and my chicken was completely RAW. I didn’t want to eat anything else after that so I had to request a refund. We were then told a waiter would be sent over to take dessert orders (on the house). After waiting 15 minutes nobody came over, so I requested a full refund for the bill and left.

Appalling value for money

Appalling value for money. Please post a picture of your ''bacon sandwich'' - a dry piece of toast with a streaky bacon slice - for 2, with coffee, £19.50 !! Stop trying to distract people with silly shot glasses with smarties and stick with your core product !!We couldn't eat it at all. Terrible. Don't go there - and the worst of it - you JUST DON'T CARE. If you want to make amends I'll give you my email address ! (bit not holding my breath).

Very poor experience at all bar one Portsmouth Gun…

Very poor experience at Portsmouth Gun Wharf quays. App only service suggestion at reception while most others had table service. Table dirty and covered with beach sand from previous customers. Main course served before starter. Feta beet and walnut salad served with no feta. Had to ask for Feta separately No salad dressing available. unfriendly waitress. Won’t rush back here.

Visited All Bar One New Street Station…

Visited All Bar One New Street Station Fri 23/7/21.No masks worn by bar staff, only one member of the waiting staff wore a mask when serving food to table. No toilet paper in ladies nor hand towels as hand dryer not working. All in all very disappointed ☹️

Fabulous staff

We were in the Tottenham Court Road branch. Staff were amazing I am 51 and didn’t feel out of place at all. Very clean and airy. Quick service and reasonably priced

Discrimination against older & less able

Finally after so many months locked away I was able to meet a friend and resume our lunches out. Sadly our favorite All Bar One has closed but we ventured out and found another not too far away.We were sent away and not allowed to enter because we do not have "smart" phones (we do not need one - Both of us being partially sighted cannot use these "smart" phones as they are not designed for us and while people say you can use voice activation I do not want all around me knowing my business). We could not "sign in" electronically but did offer to give our contact details - this was unacceptable. So if you are older and do not have a "smart" phone you are barred from All Bar One.I later found out that had we been given permission to enter we could not have ordered - you got it - you have to search out the electronic menu, order your food, find your cutlery and then pay (with 12.5% added service charge) all on your phone. Apparently they do cook the food and bring it to the table. I am sure All Bar One are not the only establishments discriminating against those without "smart" phones. Thankfully we were able to find another establishment who were more than happy to welcome "old, disabled people". As we move forward I fear that many will be "banned" from enjoying life because of ignorance, discrimination and total disregard for people as a whole.

Chicken and avocado salad

Chicken and avocado salad. Salad was dried and old. Avocado was past its sell by and chicken was tough. Had I not have already paid on their app I probably would have queried. Would not recommend.
