My friend and I stopped al All Bar One in Buttlers Wharf for a drink and some Nachos on Wednesday the 16th of Sept 2020 and we were served by Marina who did an amazing job at looking after us! She was friendly and joyful all the time, yet attentive to our needs: thanks so much for serving us!
Visited Cheltenham all bar one following a really lovely meal a Couple of weeks ago on the eat out to help out. The set menu was included and the waitress was more than helpful. When I had the email saying they were still honouring it I thought I’d go back. Unhelpful waitress and then when the bill came we were told the set menu wasn’t included in the deal. At no point had this been communicated to us. Very disappointed. Won’t be returning which is a shame as I was a regular visitor.
I visited All Bar One Glasgow on Monday 24th August With my husband, we had booked it the day before as a special birthday treat, I really wish we hadn’t bothered. My husband ordered a dirty burger that came out cold, flat and tasteless we told the waitress who then took it back to the kitchen as I started on my salmon and broccoli that was half cooked and cold. The waitress brought the burger back that had been put in the MICROWAVE yuk yuk yuk. Oh and it looked like someone had taking a bite out of it when it was first served it was falling apart. When asked if it was better we told the waitress to take it away putting it in the microwave made it worse. The whole experience was a nightmare and waste of what should have been an enjoyable evening. It seemed to us that the chef couldn’t be bothered with what the food looked or tasted like. I will never visit All Bar One again and I will never recommend it to anyone.
waited over an hour for service. In this current climate we had another venue booked for after dinner drinks and i had to move this back by an hour to be able to attend. I went to the bar and asked for service and was told to return to my seat. When the waitress came I advised we haven't been served yet and have been here for an hour and she responded "I can take your order now" I wouldnt mind if it was busy but it really wasn't. Atrocious to say the least.
The server was rude and said my friend could not have any alcohol because she had said she couldn’t see the menu. My friend was unable to see the menu as she hadn’t got her glasses with her. The waiter assumed that she was too drunk without politely asking us in the first place. I then had to go to the bar and explain and was finally given the drink for my friend. I felt uncomfortable during the whole booking like I was being watched constantly. Very poor service and won’t return again.
Went to All Bar One Portsmouth 27th August. Good and quick service. Had the lunch deal with a drink. Then a cocktail. Good atmosphere and was busy for a wet afternoon.Given 4☆☆☆☆ rather than 5 as the gents toilets are a bit rundown.
Very pleasant surroundings and attentive service. However, unfortunately, the food was just awful. Such a let down when we had looked forward to our first meal out after lock-down.Absolutely no thought or care had been put into the food prep. Sadly we will not be going back. Who would have thought a dirty burger could be tasteless! My chicken and avocado salad was abysmal with no dressing, only oil, dry chicken, even the slaw wasn't dressed. Needed a glass of water to wash it down it was so dry. Left an awful greasy feeling in my mouth.
First visit to King Street Manchester in a while and how I’ve missed it!! Firstly they have fully refurbished the bar and restaurant which looks gorgeous. The safety measures in place made me feel very comfortable and more than happy to eat and drink there. The staff as usual were brilliant and the steak I had followed by sorbet was delicious. It’s good to be back !!
It was my first outing since lockdown and I was quite appreciative but Ethan from All bar one in Wimbledon went out of his way to make my friend and I feel comfortable and welcome. Definitely a positive experience. Rosé and service was great!
