I rented from AllMeet Rent a Car in Antalya and it turned into a bad experience. They advertise themselves as being “in the terminal,” but they actually pick you up and take you to a residential street near the airport to do the paperwork. When it came to the deposit, they told me my credit card didn’t work. I contacted my bank straight away, and they confirmed that no attempt was ever made. So the card wasn’t declined – the car hire company simply never tried. Then I was told I had two choices: 1. Pay €210 for their insurance, or 2. (a day later after I complained to their manager) hand over €500 cash as a deposit. I refused to hand over that much cash to a small office in the middle of a side street, because there was no security or guarantee I’d ever get it back. In the end, I had no choice but to buy the €210 insurance. Looking at Trustpilot afterwards, I realised many others have had exactly the same experience – it seems to be their standard way of operating. My advice if you end up in this situation: • Call or webchat with your bank immediately to check if they actually attempted the deposit. • Get written confirmation (screenshots or chat logs). • Refuse to hand over cash – it’s unsafe. • If you’re forced to buy insurance, keep every receipt and then file a chargeback with your card provider. • Report the company to the booking platform and, if you can, to Turkish consumer protection. If you haven’t booked yet – I would honestly say avoid this company completely. There are plenty of legitimate rental firms at Antalya Airport who don’t play these games.
