There was a problem with delivery, the store could not figure out where my parcel was for two weeks, I conducted my own investigation, found the parcel, sent it back, the parcel arrived and for more than a month now I have been completely ignored, I was stolen 1600 euros. I do not recommend this store to anyone
I had an excelent service experience at Amac either physical shop or during my ipad purchase online. Everything went smoothly, they answered to all my questions and made me feel welcome. I am really happy with my ipad and that won’t be my last purchase at Amac.
1 star is too generous, completely unprofessional!!What a disaster at Amac Amsterdam. I ordered a MacBook Air here, and everything went wrong from the very beginning.They entered my email address incorrectly, even though I spelled it out clearly three times. As a result, I didn’t receive a receipt which I urgently needed and specifically asked for. This careless mistake ended up costing me money. No solution.Then I was told over the phone that the laptop arrived. One of the staff even checked the stockroom and confirmed it was there. Based on that, I made the trip to the store only to be told the laptop wasn’t there at all. Suddenly, no one knew anything about the call. No responsibility, no explanation, just shrugged shoulders and "we don’t know, we make mistakes."I made it clear multiple times that I needed the laptop before Friday. That was completely ignored. Nobody knows where the product is now or when it will arrive. It seems like there’s zero internal communication like every employee is operating in their own bubble.In short: terrible communication, no ownership, no service, no respect for the customer. You’d expect a premium Apple reseller to act with professionalism and reliability but Amac is the exact opposite. Ordering here feels more like buying tech at a flea market.Avoid this store if you care about clear agreements!
FULL BLOWN SCAMMERSBought a macbook from them because as I student I could use the student discount which is 150 euros. The day before I went to buy the macbook, I specifically went to the store to check if they willl accept my student card and to see exactly how much of a discount I will get. They told me 150 euros which is the exact discount you will get if you get the macbook from the official apple website.So, the following day I went to buy the macbook. When I was about to pay, suddenly the discount wasn't 150 euros but 100...I then told them that I could just simply buy the same macbook from coolblu cheaper, even without student discount and then the sells guy told me that at coolblu they only offer 1 year warranty whereas if I get the macbook from Amac I would get 2 years, so naturally I agreed to buy the macbook from them even at 50 euros more.Guess what?When I got home and opened the macbook, my warranty was only 1 year...FULL BLOWN SCAMMERSCANNOT RECOMMEND
