Excellent, he was very realistic and clearly told me the likelihood of the outcome regarding size and managed my expectations. Due to rheumatoid arthritis and taking immune suppressors I was very worried about healing and complications but they have healed so well and so quickly with no complications whatsoever. I’m so pleased with the results really natural looking breasts and really nice shape.
On the 25/10/2021 I under went along awaited rhinoplasty with Dr Mahajan, from my initial zoom meeting , meeting to measure the nose and discuss what I wanted Dr Mahajan was open honest and told me honestly what he thought would suit my face I felt totally safe in his hands . I then met the anaesthetist I believe he was called Dr Varma who talked through my heavy medication for an old spinal injury and the pros and cons of anaesthetic . On the day of my operation I had a problem with my thyroid levels but after a great chat he decided he would put me to sleep and keep me safe , again a true professional and so clued up on my case . The scrub nurses showed compassion and helped me calm down and not be scared . Again showing that he works with a great team who were all men that day .My procedure went smoothly and I felt safe but like Tyson Fury had bashed my face in , but pain medication helped in the first week . I always thought that it was going to be awful but I can truly say apart from a headache I haven’t had a bad experience and I truly believe that’s because I have been looked after by an amazing doctor and his team . After care has been great , a review at week 1 and then week 12. In that time I could have contact with Dr Mahajan if I needed too but I haven’t needed it . I can only praise the whole team that worked on my face as I now can look in the mirror and love my nose straight and able to breath out of . Dr Mahajan is a truly professional , compassionate man who is honest about what he can and cannot do to your face . I trusted him and are so glad I did , I might be 55 years old but I love my new nose and yes Dr M it’s not a pinched American nose that would have looked ridiculous on my face . THANKYOU from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful experience and beautiful nose . The only honest complaint I had was the Spire Elland hospital was a true let down and as a private patient I expected more than a plastic sandwich and 2slices of cold toast so I recommend you go to the Yorkshire clinic where he also works , but this doesn’t detract from my rhinoplasty result but I promised to be honest about the whole experience .
I cannot thank Professor Mahajan enough, I am so grateful for what he has done for me. I always hated my nose and was very insecure. Professor Mahajan was realistic with what he could give me and ensured I was prepared. I am unbelievably happy with the results and I was even able to attend my graduation and have my pictures taken without having to worry about my appearance. The staff at the Yorkshire Clinic were amazing and made sure I had everything I needed. It was an amazing experience from start to finish, and I would recommend Professor Mahajan to anyone considering getting a rhinoplasty. Thank you, for giving me back my confidence and changing my life.
So I had my Rhinoplasty & Breast Augmentation done on the 15th May 2021. The only reason there is a delay with this review is because I’ve continued to procrastinate. First off I would like to start by saying Mr. Mahajan is a very talented man. I absolutely love my new nose and boobs. I originally had my first consultation back in March 2020. Just before the first lockdown. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, my surgery was majorly delayed which is completely understandable. My surgery was carried out at Spire Elland Hospital and I believe it took about 4 hours in total. Mr. Mahajan always responded to any emails in a timely manner, no matter how daft I felt my questions may be, before and after surgery. He was very professional and informative during my 2 consultations with him. He set clear expectations which I liked there’s nothing worse than being unrealistic. Spire Elland really looked after me too as I was having 2 procedures I spent the full day and night there. I’m not going to lie, it was a very uncomfortable night due to the packing in my nose but it was worth it. I can’t say this surgery has completely changed my life as it was cosmetic after all but it has dramatically improved my self esteem and I no longer feel the need to shy away from cameras. If you’re thinking about having surgery I would highly recommend Mr. Mahajan, he is amazing and surely the best in Yorkshire although I might be biased. Thanks for everything you do Mr. Mahajan in making people feel more confident and happy in their own skin. I have felt very self conscious about my small chest and the bump on my nose for at least 15 years and I used to think about them constantly. I no longer have these “issues” taking over my mind as you have done such a great job. I won’t hesitate in having any other procedures done by yourself in the distant future.
I had a breast lift & reduction in September which was performed by Prof Mahajan & his amazing team. From my first consultation through to my operation & aftercare, the whole team were brilliant. All questions by myself were answered thoroughly and I can't tell you how amazing the results are! I am so pleased with my renewed breasts I can't stop looking at them! Cannot recommend Prof Mahajan and his team at The Yorkshire Clinic highly enough..if you're thinking of having the operation I wouldn't recommend anyone else!
I have recently had breast augmentation and the outcome is better than I had expected. Professor Ajay Mahajan helped me to choose the size best for me as I requested something very natural (280cc). He even arranged an extra consultation for me as I was very undecided between 2 different sizes. Due to having Covid my procedure was pushed back although the team worked hard to get me a new date as soon as it was safe for me to have it. On the day of my procedure I was greeted and taken to my room and everything ran very smoothly. The recovery process hasn’t been as bad as I was expecting and I was very mobile not long after! The stitches are very neat and are fading more and more every week! I couldn’t recommend Professor Mahajan enough, my confidence has lifted so much since having the procedure!
I first visited Ajay Mahajan 3 years ago, following various google searches for surgeons in my areas specialising in breast uplift surgery. I had seen a multitude of consultants over a 20 year period, so this was not something I was rushing into. I had a labiaplasty back in March 2021. It is without a doubt the BEST decision I have ever made. I have wanted this surgery for so long and it was so worth it. It has made me so happy I wish I did it sooner. I found the recovery good, yes the first month was uncomfortable but that is expected but it is totally worth it. I was back playing competitive sports within a few months. Now over 6 months later I have not had any problems.If you are thinking of having this surgery I definitely recommend Dr Mahajan, he was brilliant. He made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole process. He was very professional and I highly recommend him.
I cannot tell you how happy I am with my abdominalplasty. I have always been a chunky girl but after having my daughter I had excess skin that I hated and showed through all my clothes. This procedure has completely changed my shape! I expected to be in a lot of pain after but the pain was minimal. I felt a pulling sensation from my muscles being stitched but other than that it hasn't being so bad! One unexpected bonus has been that I use to constantly need a wee but since the operation I can now sleep all night without going to the loo which is amazing! Mr Mahajan was very professional and friendly. I cannot praise the care I recieved through him and the staff at spire elland enough! Highly recommend!
