They are the most expensive company selling these medical ID's and they are the not quality items. They are cheaply made. They have a no return policy so once you get your product, you are stuck with it.
I purchased a men's bracelet with a watch band on it. WOW! This was the cheapest watch band in the world. I have toy watches I bought for my son when he was 4 years old with higher quality bands on it!
It digs into your skin, caused marks around my wrist and I just can't wear it. It's useless to me and I spent a lot of money on this.
Their customer support is the worst I have ever dealt with. They are nasty, rude, and will hang up on you as they did with me.
I first contacted their customer support via email and sounded like the responses were rude to me so I thought calling them on the phone would be better as you can hear someone's emotion in their voice. I called in with sincerity, wasn't even mean, never raised my voice, and just asking for a fair resolution. They were SO MEAN, SO RUDE... and they HUNG UP ON ME!!!
I'm so dismayed that! I'm so surprised just how rude a company can be. They do not care about you and I would never support this company and neither should you.
There are SO many other options that are half the price and 5x the quality.

UPDATEAfter AMID responding to my review to have somebody contact me, this never occurred. Dishonesty doesnt look goid on you. Dont do business with them.....I ordered a necklace watch tags and emergency card. The tag on the necklace had the red coating fall off within 10 days of everyday wearing. I mentioned it to them by email and only a response I got was a discount for a new one with money out of my pocket. This is terrible that a live person can't contact you and no offer to replace it. Terrible customer service.
Crappy product, crappy service. Ordered a silver ID bracelet that was delivered with the engraving mis-aligned at an angle causing the last few letters of my name to go over the edge. Returned the bracelet only to be told for an additional $35 plus postage they would grind away the engraving and redo it. My objection was the loss of value with the missing silver and it was their poor workmanship in the first place. I asked for a refund to be told they have a $35 dollar restocking fee, yes even though it was their screw up with the engraving. After two weeks I am still waiting for any refund. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.
I received this email on the “shipping” status on June 19th and have yet to receive my package, and to hear your wonderful, lovely customer service reps make excuses on why I haven’t received package that I paid for the two times I’ve called and both times that turned into a dog and pony show and have to listen to them talk over me the whole time. I absolutely have a right to be mad!I love the way this “business “(using that word loosely) takes my money and I get nothing in return. No return emails from customer service, no “We apologize for the order not being received “….. NOTHING but excuses and rude, know it all CSR’s. I EITHER WANT WHAT I ORDERED, OR I WANT A FULL REFUND! And I prefer a refund, because honestly I have no desire to deal with a “business “ that handles customers packages that is Obviously lost the way that you all do, An attitude of “we don’t care” with a side on No Remorse either.I will email and call everyday until I get a refund or get what I originally ordered. At this point, it is not about the money… It is about the principle and trying to get this so called “business “ to do the right thing.
The engraving quality is not as good as medical IDs I've had in the past from other companies, and the "engraving" block of information was crooked both front and back, leading me to think the information was stamped rather than engraved. The information on the ID was clear, however, so if you don't mind a little sloppiness, it's worth buying. The delivery time was excellent. If I had noticed that this company is affiliated with several other organizations I would have probably looked elsewhere. I don't agree with for-profit organizations affiliating with non-profit organizations because I think the emphasis is on fund-raising and not product quality. In fairness to American Medical ID, there is no explanation as to what the nature of the affiliation is, but I can't think what else it would be.
