Myself and my partner won a couples shoot. We'd never done anything like this before.From the start until the end every staff member has been so lovely and explained every part of the process to us. We felt so comfortable on the day of the photographs and never felt pressured to buy anything. We loved the photos in the end though so of course we did buy some. We had such a lovely experience together and would really recommend Andrew Wood Photography.
My husband bought a burlesque photo shoot for me as he wanted me to have some time for me. The whole experience is fabulous. The customer service building up to your shoot is fabulous. Phone calls to talk you through what happens, a pack in the post and text messages along the way. When you arrive, you are greeted with a friendly team. You sit with a drink of your choice, whilst you wait for you make up artist. You then go in for hair and make up. Once this is done, you wait for your photographer, I had Denni. She was fabulous, she made me feel relaxed and confident. They no exactly what they are doing. Telling you how to stand, which way to look etc. I had taken some tassels but wasn't sure if I was brave enough to wear them, but Denni encouraged me. Before you leave, you book your viewing. You are given a voucher for 2 free images if you return within a week. I don't think this gives people enough time to return. Most people aren't local. In the week building up to it, i received chocolate in the post. When you go for your viewing, you will see all the photos. You can then filter any you aren't happy with, then try and narrow it down to the amount you are going to purchase. There is no hard sell, have any idea what you want to buy before you go in. I do think it would be good if there was a cheaper option who don't have the spare cash to spend a few hundred, and don't want to tie themselves up with rhe finance option. I would love to buy my daughter this experience,but she wouldn't be able to afford the prints. We are delighted with the photos, so delighted I have shared a few in social media. I would recommend this experience to all ladies, it will build your confidence. Thank you to all the team for a great time.
Walking in as a huge bag of nerves! (Ask my aunty!) To walking out as a new woman! Thank you honestly from the bottom of my heart to every lady that helped today! But especially to my aunty Bev who trusted and dragged me along today.
The staff kept in close contact throughout the process which made me feel much more clear and comfortable with what I was doing when I went to the studio. Everything was done with my input and opinion, so they don't push you to do anything you're not happy with. Everyone is super helpful and supportive, so they make you feel really comfortable and confident even if you're a bit nervous when you arrive. Just so much fun feeling like a supermodel!
It was a lovely experience however I did state to the lady there where certain poses I wanted to do and I did about 2 of out the many I showed her as I did explain the usual poses where not me and I didn’t feel sexy doing them. I feel like going forward they should ask what sort of poses you prefer to do as I felt like I couldn’t speak up and tell them this.
I had a great experience with Andrew Wood Photography from winning a competition on their social media. I had a maternity photo shoot as I’m due to welcome my baby girl into the world in 5 weeks time. I was a bag of nerves at the thought of standing in front of a photographer after going through changes within my body to grow our baby girl but I was made to feel so relaxed and calm from start to finish by all the ladies within the company. Everyone was lovely and welcoming. My make up artist Georgia was lovely and very professional and loved everything about my hair and make up and the products she used. Abigail was my photographer and she made me feel very comfortable and guided me through the photoshoot as I had not done one before. She was lovely. Abigail included my partner and all our props we wanted for the photoshoot which was amazing as we are becoming a first time mummy and daddy. Any nerves I had went straight out the window as soon as I entered the studio. The photos were amazing when we back to view them at our cinematic experience and photos that I will forever treasure for my first pregnancy. The customer service was next to none starting from winning the competition, the care calls prior to attending and then attending the studio and going back for the cinematic experience. All the ladies went above and beyond. Would highly recommend
This was such a brilliant day from the makeup to the actual photoshoot. The girls at reception were very lovely and welcoming. Abby rose who did my makeup did such a fantastic job with it. Vicky who did my photoshoot made me feel very confident and sexy and we had a laugh. Can’t recommend this experience enough.
