I had a wonderful experience

I had a wonderful experience. The girls are so supportive and helpful. It's an all female staff which puts you more at ease in this experience. There is lots of contact before, during and after your day with sweet messages in post and calls to make sure you're ready and ask if you need anything. It is a positive experience! I can't imagine anyone not having a great time. It's an experience I will cherish and would encourage others to do if they feel brave enough. I've had a double mastectomy with reconstruction 2 and a half years ago and it benefited me in many ways. Can't thank them enough.

Worth going just for hair and make up

Worth going just for hair and make up. She also let me list the products so I could get my own. Jemma the photographer was great. Not sure if they match personality types after your initial call but we had lots in common. Very knowledgeable about lighting and happy to talk about it once she knew I was fascinated by it. I showed her my outfits and let her choose. She is the artist after all. Photos were amazing. I'm still sad about the ones I left, but I love what I kept. Definitely recommend as it's 2 fun days out, a proper giggle but makes you feel good too. Im not a giod looking curvy woman, but I felt strong and sexy instead of wiry and stringy😄

Shona was amazing and I didn't feel like I was with someone alot younger but more like a peer a friend. And the work she is with hair and make up. Wow just wow Ive never looked in a mirror and thought wow I look good. Just this part of my experience before any photo shoot has lifted my spirits. Thank you so much Shona you are a star! Xxx

I won a photoshoot experience

I won a photoshoot experience, which was amazing! Had to pay £50 deposit, which was refunded on a second appointment during the viewing. The photographers were great, but the makeup felt rushed, and they didn’t ask for my preferences regarding eyebrows or eyeshadows. I was also promised two digital photos as a gift but only received one A4 print of my choice. This misinformation left me a bit disappointed. Overall, the experience was fantastic. I received excellent customer treatment and walked away with boosted confidence. Thank you!

All staff extremely attentive before

All staff extremely attentive before, during and after photoshoot. Very calm atmosphere. I hadn't done anything like this before nevermind in my underwear and I was glad I rode the waves of anxiety because the outcome was great, I left feeling on top of the world! Thank you Andrew Wood Photography 🥰

DO IT!!

I won the Bridle Boudoir Photoshoot from a competition I seen on Facebook, I never win anything so it was a massive surprise! Everyone I spoke to at Andrew Wood were amazing, they really know how to boost your confidence even before your photo shoot! I would definitely recommend this to anyone! They keep you informed every step of the way and they send you so much love with little surprise gifts (I won’t tell you what, you’ll have to find out 😋). The Photoshoot itself was great, I was so nervous at first but Tallulah made me feel comfortable and confident for every photo! My advice, just do it, believe me you will be surprised with the results, I definitely was.

Superstar staff make you feel VIP

I won a competition for the full experience. It was wonderful. I felt so looked after before I had even arrived. I loved the experience but the attention to detail before and between the shoot and viewing was amazing. They made me feel like I was someone really important. I loved the photos and so did my husband. So happy with everything

I won a 50 shades experience

I won a 50 shades experience. When I say won i understand it's a marketing trick to get you there, but no matter i was up for a challenge of doing something different to hopefully release the inner me that had been hidden for so many years.I went and had a make over and hair brush and sprayed ( i have really short hair so not alot you can do with it.) I liked the makeup but I did want a little more dramatic but it was time to met my photographer. Jemma was fantastic, she spent time chatting and getting to know me and putting my worries at ease. She explained everything we were going to do and was just so lovely which I found a fantastic help. After the shoot we booked an appointment for our return to see the photos, which through one mix up after another we arranged to finally view the photos some 3 weeks after my initial shoot. When my partner and I returned to view the photos. We were told it would be a viewing experience and we could relax and look at our photos. To be honest it was a very rushed part of the experience.Yes we sat down in a cinema style room, yes there werre small bags of popcorn 🍿 to have if wanted and yes we got a drink. I explained to Carley that I was very nervous as I hate who I was due a lot of childhood trauma and the nastiness of alot of people in my life. She simply said we all don't like things about ourselves and this was an opportunity to see myself in a different light. And was then rushed in to deciding which photos I liked and didn't like. This process happened a few times each time being made to make an instant decision on which i liked and which I didn't. Every step of the way I advised that I was in fact bankrupt and couldn't decide to take on a contract for the photos and wall art as I was not allowed. The photos were beautiful there is no doubting that but I was made to feel very uncomfortable and felt extreme pressure to have the photos instead of the free one I had won. There was constant talk of finance and what I could have. Constantly having to make instant decisions on what photos I wanted. I then couldn't cope with the pressure and started to cry uncontrollably and agreed to a usb with 10 photos on as well as 2 free ones which Jemma has given me a voucher for and the one I had won. I handed my debit card over and it was done. I had just spent £700 on photos I will probably never look at again and put my family in to a very stressful situation where, by money has been extremely tight. The experience over all was a good one but towards the end I felt extremely pressured.

I was offered a free photoshoot…

I was offered a free photoshoot which I was delighted about. Arrival was great, girl behind the desk was friendly and we were offered a drink. I went to get my make-up done. The girl who did it was friendly, however seemed nervous. I asked for brown/goldy natural tones as I don’t wear loads of make up. The skin was lovely, the eyeshadow was ok (I asked her to tone it down a little) but the eyeliner was really messy and untidy. I asked her to try and fix it but felt a bit bad complaining as she didn’t seem confident or maybe there wasn’t time to re-do it? I tried to re-do it myself. Photographer was a nice person but could tell we were really on the clock as it was rapid and used a lot of props, I kept asking for more photos without props as I felt they were a bit cheesy (fake flowers and pearls). The viewing the following day was comfortable and I thought I would be really keen to purchase the photos but I really disliked them all to the point I didn’t really want any. This was probably an accumulation of not liking the make-up and the props. I did see other people getting really beautiful photos so I am assuming this is just my personal experience. If I had of paid for it I would have been disappointed with the outcome but as it was free it was fine. Unfortunately the photos did not make me feel good but again this is my own experience, other people were definitely pleased with theirs. The day after the viewing the photographer text me to say she was working on my photos …. So maybe my photos weren’t edited properly for my viewing and that contributed to how the images turned out?
