Review Time
I was made to feel very welcome by everyone, it was a really relaxed atmosphere. They explained everything and really put me at ease as I was quite nervous but I really didn't need to be! I enjoyed every minute of my experience and was gutted when it was over! At my viewing I was excited and deservedly so...my pictures were amazing!!! I walked out of there with a new empowered perception of myself!! I looked hot 🔥.
I won a free photo shoot and A4 print and i was very nervous, i expressed how i was feeling to the team and they were very helpful, talked me through everything and offered plenty of reassurance via phone call, text and Email. I cant fault anything from the day of the shoot. My hair & make up stylist was lovely and so was my photographer and every staff member i came into contact with. I returned 2 weeks later for my photo viewing and i chose 3 photos, no pushy sales for photos or packages. I chose my free A4 photo and also 2 more to accompany it. Very happy i pushed myself to do this as it was very much out of my comfort zone.
I won a 50 Shades Photo shoot with Andrew Wood Photography. From receiving the call to say I won, I was made to feel amazing. The team were so friendly and had a great energy, made me feel excited, confident and empowered. I received updates and gifts leading upto the experience and during and after I felt amazing. I would definitely recommend Andrew Wood Photography as the photos were stunning and made my feel so proud of myself. Overall it was just amazing!
Had a lovely experience in hair and make up was fantastic and the staff were so friendly, we had a few issues with our photographer i dont think she was having the best day, she wasnt very accomodating and quite short with my partner, that resulted in the shoot feeling uncomfortable and forced, there were tears too, that really took away from the empowering experience I was expecting.Coming back to look at the pics was fun, the lady who did our viewing was really nice. The photos came out amazing, it's so hard not to want them all. They didn't push a hard sell either and we came away with a good deal we were happy with. The warning would be to expect ALOT of contact, phone calls, texts, emails. During the run up to the shoot we were called and texted countless times and at least 2/3 small gifts through the post. Then again in between the shoot and the viewing. Filled in around 3 satisfaction surveys. Calls if your running late, calls to check your still coming, calls to check you know the way. It felt a little much. Now it's over we are pretty relieved that the calls and texts have stopped. Overall lovely pics but quite full on, especially if you are having photos taken because you have anexity issues, it can hinder rather than help. ⁸
This entire experience was wonderful everybody was so welcoming. The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. Christine is such a great photographer. I adore my photos. Just be aware to expect a lot of contract in the run up to the shoot. Also be warned the photos are so expensive.
I won a competition to have a photoshoot with Andrew Wood Photography and the whole experience was just amazing. I completely forgot I had entered so was totally shocked when I got the call to say I was one of the lucky winners.The whole experience was totally amazing from start to finish and I am so pleased I was lucky enough to get this experience. I decided to do new things this year and push myself totally out of my comfort zone and for me to have a 50 shades shoot was at the start very daunting but now I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.The initial call with Julie was so lovely, friendly, helpful and she already started to put me at ease. I was kept updated on the lead up to the day with lots of helpful information and positiveness. Then the day arrived, I was so anxious and really started to doubt what I had got myself in to. I arrived at reception to such a warm and friendly greeting and was given so much reassurance (and a glass of fizz 😁). After arriving I was taken through to have my hair and makeup done with Shona, she did such a wonderful job, talking me through everything she was doing and asking for my preferences. Once my makeup and hair was done although it made me feel amazing the nerves kicked I'm again. I was then greeted by Denni who was going to be my photographer, she made me feel so comfortable through the whole thing that I honestly forgot I was in my underwear, she talked me through all the poses and was so patient with me and I ended up having so much fun.Today I went back to see my photos in a cinema style viewing which was brilliant and I loved seeing them all, they were just fab, having never done anything like this before I was so shocked at seeing myself look like I did.The competition did require a £50 deposit but this was just to ensure you did turn up and is returned to you when you go back to see your photos, at the end of the day this was being done for free so for me I felt this was reasonable.The competition entitled me to one free A4 print with the option to of course purchase more if I wanted to. After reading other reviews I was worried I would be given a hard sell and feel pressured to purchasing more but I have to say for me this really wasn't the case I didn't feel under pressure to purchase anymore. I did come away with just my free print which I was able to choose which one I wanted but wish I was in a position to purchase all of them. I will definitely be going back in the future as a paying customer to do this all again when I'm in a position to buy more.Anyone out there who is thinking of entering any of their competitions don't hesitate it's an amazing experience and you will be so pleased you did it and anyone thinking of purchasing a shoot with Andrew Wood Photography your money will be well spent.Thank you to everyone who I have met and spoken to at Andrew Wood Photography I had the absoutle best time and I will be back in the future xxx
The whole experience was so good. The way that they keep in touch with you, just the little things that make a big difference. My make up artist (Remia) was lovely and did a wonderful job and my photographer was an absolute superstar (Tallulah). I would recommend this to anyone who wants to feel empowered and confident. I arrived feeling nervous and apprehensive and left feeling confident and happy!
