The classes at Christ Church, East Dulwich remain extremely convenient and very well timed on a Saturday morning.
In addition to Ailsa (and the occasional stand-ins) being fabulous, the communications from Dawn and Zoe are excellent.
I will shortly be trying the Telegraph Hill venue - more on that soon!

I have really enjoyed my classes at Ankor Pilates and am gutted that, due to changed circumstances, I am no longer able to be a member. I mainly took intermediate lessons at Telegraph Hill on a Friday morning and found them excellent- stretching (in all senses!), supportive and mentally and physically absorbing.
Ankor Pilates is a fantastic asset for the community. The teachers are terrific; the team is super well run and responsive. Attention to each individual and their specific needs (esp with back care issues) is better than I’ve experienced with other Pilates classes. Well worth every penny!!!
I’m a Goldsmiths student, and I was so sad that there’s no gym around New Cross anymore! However, since I discovered Ankor Pilates, my life has been rescued. I suffer from chronic neck and back pain, but it always feels better whenever I keep up with my workouts. Thanks to Dawn, I received excellent instruction on the lesson system, and I absolutely love the classes and their effects, thanks to Lauren and Sophie. Highly recommend it, and I hope my health continues to improve!
These classes are really well structured and paced. The teachers take great care to offer individual support and instruction when helpful. I am feeling stronger with each class, and really enjoying the sessions. There is plenty of choice available (different teachers, days, times and levels).
Teachers are great and as someone who had never done Pilates before I found the sessions very approachable. I have been a member for 4 months or so and have really noticed an improvement in my core and flexibility. They take you through each movement so even a beginner can follow along. They have also been very helpful with any questions around the session as well as customer support. Thanks Ankor 👍
I’ve really enjoyed the classes. I’ve settled on a regular slot unless I have to change if it changes and all the teachers have been great. They are attentive and check in throughout the class to ensure I’m following the correct technique. I’ve noticed an increase in my core strength and flexibility after only a few months.
I’ve been attending these classes for a few months and cannot recommend them enough - particularly for anyone struggling with a lower back injury. The classes are kept small and without music to ensure the instructors can be super attentive, and gives you the space to focus. Lauren, Livi and Ailsa have been absolute stand-out instructors, who are all welcoming, attuned to their clients abilities and accomodating to any injuries!
