Delays and poor service

Package has been in the sorting warehouse in Ireland since the 19th of December (ordered from Europe on the 10th of December). Called customer service and was told it’s in a trailer without any further updates i.e. you’ll get it when you get it. Rude customer service on the first call. Nicer on the second call who told me that because they have taken on so much with Fastway they don’t have the workforce to process. Couldn’t guarantee anything before Christmas nor would they allow any collections. Very disappointing service. Won’t use them again.

Be aware of cowboys

Absolutely disgusting and appalling service. At the moment GLS is the worst delivery company in Ireland and they should finish the same way as Cowboys from fastway did. Ordered parcel 2 weeks ago from France. Parcel arrived to Ireland on 19th December. Since that, no scans no movement, no attempt to delivery. Took me over 55 minutes on the phone to get to customer service, just to here that my parcel is sitting in the trailer and won't be delivered until after Christmas. I heard that the stuff they received up 17th December will be delivered by Christmas and anything after 17th will be delivered after Christmas. What a joke, what a shower of cowboys!!! I will avoid every single supplier who is using them.

Extremely frustrating experience

I had to rate it 1 star because there was no option for zero. The driver has had my package on the van for eight days without delivering it, despite my availability during the scheduled delivery times. Customer service is completely unresponsive, both by phone and email. It doesn't look good for receiving my package before Christmas. I strongly advise against using this service.
