Review Time
I had paid for next day delivery, the DHL courier didn't come near our house, he just left phone messages. I was in all day waiting. When I phoned him and begged him to deliver my parcel he said he was on his way back to the depot and they would deliver my parcel the next day!!
The service provided was extremely disappointing. Currently, this delivery company is the worst in the region, and they should face consequences similar to those experienced by others in the past. I ordered a parcel two weeks ago from abroad, which arrived on December 19th. Since then, there have been no updates, no attempts at delivery. I spent over 55 minutes on the phone to reach customer service, only to learn that my parcel is still in transit and won't be delivered until after the holiday. I was informed that packages received before December 17th would be delivered by Christmas, while those that arrived later would not. This is utterly frustrating and unprofessional! I will steer clear of any supplier that relies on this service.
I have the same experience as many others. I ordered a parcel at the beginning of December, and it has been stuck in the Irish depot for over a week with no updates. I will have to return to the vendor and request a refund because the parcel will not arrive in time for Christmas. I won't purchase anything in the future if this company is the delivery service.
Awful service. I gave it one star because I couldn't give zero. The driver has had my package on the van for eight days and still hasn't delivered it, despite me being home during the allocated delivery times each day. Customer service is non-existent, both on the phone and via email. Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for Christmas. I would advise avoiding this company at all costs.
This is the worse service I’ve ever used in my life. Yesterday I got an email saying my package was delivered, which it was definitely not. We have monitoring and I was home all day working at my desk with a view of the street. Not a GLS van in sight. Just to make sure I even drove to a similar address they may have mistook it for (even though the air code was provided) and knocked on some poor persons door just in case. I have no idea where my package has gone. That’s ignoring the fact the delivery with them was meant to be 3-5 business days, and it took 14 BUSINESS days. I have just spent over an hour on the phone on hold trying to get hold of customer service. Yesterday there wasn’t even an answer just automatic hang up the call. Today there was actually a queue so I waited for over an hour, wasted all of my phone credit. Just to get to number 1 and that same awful robot to tell me „all phone operators are busy, try again later” and automatically hang up. Then what did I wait in a queue for? I genuinely believe they don’t even have any customer service team, as my emails weren’t answered either. I would never recommend this courier as this is my first and last experience with this awful company. Relating to other reviews which I ignored to my demise, how can they make this many packages go missing and still have the worst customer service I’ve seen? WHERE IS MY PACKAGE??
One star is generous. I ordered on 27th November. The parcel was in the Netherlands on 2nd December, then in France on 4th December. There were no updates for over a week, since the 6th, still showing it was in France. It finally landed in Ireland on the 15th with no further updates. I had to escalate and contact the company I ordered from. I received it the following morning on the 23rd. I would never purchase from anyone who uses GLS again. To make matters worse, the company sent me the wrong item, leaving me with no gift for my partner for Christmas. I also tried to call GLS and could not even get in a queue, the system said all lines were busy, then hung up on me.
GLS have got to be the worst courier I have ever had to use. I was due to receive an order which was to take 3 to 5 working days to arrive, but it took way longer than that. To add insult to injury, they left my parcel at the beginning of my driveway, in wet bushes and did not attempt to announce their presence, such as knocking (I was at home, driveway was full of cars).The parcel contained electronics, which would have been destroyed if I had not coincidentally needed to refuel my car a few hours after this parcel arrived and was placed in wet bushes. They signed for the parcel themselves and just left it there.Absolutely useless company and they have been for years.
