It is the 3rd time I have made business with Sliderodes. I know they deliver a excellent quality wardrobes. This time Helena assisted me with the designing. Michael with the final measurements and Liam with the fitting. I am very with everything.
Made a warrenty claim for a water pump failure and head gasket, both covered parts, claim was only part accepted. Citing 'subsequently failure is not covered in our policy' meaning the head gasket wouldnt be covered as it failed due to the water pump failing. No where in the terms and conditions does it state this, when I pointed this out, they agreed and change the reason for declining my claim. To me they are looking for any reason to not pay for a claim. By stating T&Cs that dont exsist and then not acknowledging a failure of a warrenty covered part has caused a failure on another warranty covered part. Thought the AA being a long standing, reputable company would treat customers fairly but was told they arent regulated by the FCA so they are not bound by consumer duty. I take from that, they mean we can do what we want
attempted delivery to wrong addressit took 3 attempts to get the right address.there is a similar sounding address in Armagh city which they kept trying to deliver to.if they had used the postcode it would have been simple.advised of this issue after first failed delivery, and still the next day they tried to deliver to the other address.call centre staff where polite and helpful but cant help feel let down by the experience.
Parcel arrived in a terrible state. The gift package parcel had been opened. The inner wrapping was badly torn and wrinkled. The delivery lady rang the doorbell, left the parcel which we were expecting to sign for on the step and hastily left when I went to the door after mentioning the name of the person the parcel was intended for. When I picked it up I saw immediately the poor state it was delivered in. We were looking forward to its arrival to give as a special gift to our grandson. We were extremely disappointed. We expected better of DHL.
Absolutely DIRE! Could have driven to Sligo and back to Dublin to get my parcel at least 50 times. Sent 10/12/25 and missing in action! Call and hold on for ages as I was 39th in the queue. Prob one person answering…. Or nobody for that matter. Then call at 16h30 to have recording day we are closed. Opening hours 09h00-17h00. Emailed but no reply …. SHOCKING CO
