Review Time
I ordered a package at 8/12/2025 and today I've got an email which said my package has been delivered at 16:12PM....I wasn't at home at this time and I found it really weird that they didn't call me because usually in this situation every other currier call me, and when I arrived at home my package was nowhere. I tried to call their Customer Service Team because it wasn't 5PM yet but nobody answered....and the joke is that the robot voice on the phone tells me to call them between 9AM and 5PM Mond-Fri....but it seems it's not possible. UPDATE: I tried to call customer service today morning (18/12/2025), but again I was unsuccessful...after I went through all the menu items I needed a robotic voice told me that all the agents were very busy and hung up the phone.....thank you :)
I had some bad experiences with them before, but I wanted to send a parcel and after a bit of searching I found some cheerful information on their website. Like you can choose a payment method - when I was trying to pay, the only option was Paypal. Or e.g. the shop nearby, that is a drop off point, would print labels - no they don't.And then I wanted to contact customer services. They have a little floating icon that gives the impression you can chat - no you can't. You can call or send an email. I did both. Called them, I was the 40th in line. While I was waiting, I sent an email, why not, maybe they will get back to me before I get to be the 1st in line. That was a long shot, so won't hold that against them that they didn't. But then after 50 minutes waiting, I got to be the 1st in line and the the next thing is I get an automated message that all of their agents are busy and I should try again later, bye-bye. I didn't even know to cry or laugh. And they don't even have a complaint form. Disappointing doesn't even cover the experience. Imagine you had to talk to someone urgently about something you sent. Well I chose another company for my parcel.
Customer service unhelpful in resolving an eircode issue. Despite being contacted before parcel in the country. Delivery marked as delivered. Not delivered 2 days later and still waiting. Also delivery signed off under false signature.
GLS is an absolute sh1tshow of a service. Inaccurate updates with online tracking. Notifications of constantly changing delivery dates. No replies to emails from customer service. Unable to contact them by phone. Eventually after being on hold for 45 minutes, get told that the parcel is sitting in a trailer somewhere and will not be processed before Christmas.
It's getting a one star as I can't give it zero. GLS are the worst company I've ever dealt with. My parcel has been with them almost two weeks with no movement through it's channels. Twice I've waited over 30 mins on a call in their supposed queue and when I got to number one they hung up. I've sent numerous emails and not one of them has been followed up after the initial bot answer. I will not be ordering anything from any business using GLS ever again.
I’ve had 16 GLS notifications regarding my parcel from Oxendales and finally you said it was delivered but it was not. I waited in each time I got your notifications of delivery dates. Sent you 3 emails regarding this left my phone number. Tried phoning you but you don’t answer. Worst service ever. You ruined my occasion due to your non delivery. Caused me unnecessary immense stress. Will never use you or buy from anyone that you deliver for. Joanna Sherry County Kildare.
