DHL let me know this morning (16th Dec 2025) by emails that they were now delivering my package today. I had to respond to change delivery instructions as the package had been agreed with supplier it would be delivered on Fri 19th December as I had agreed a delivery with a signature for extra protection.I also opted for the delivery on 19th December as I would be at home. 16th was not my change and I was at work not expecting any parcel.Having run round to give updated instructions I asked for the package to be placed in my bin close to the front door. This was ignored and placed behind the bin and since we had rain the outer package was very damp. Thankfully the item seems ok having been shipped from France, but I would like an explanation of why the date was changed for delivery and a gratitude from DHL for the inconvenience and lack of safety for me as the customer.
