I would give zero stars but that is not an option. Shockingly bad service. I like many on this review thread was home all day when I got a notification to say there was an attempted delivery and it was returned to the depot in Swords which is 21km from where I live. The company never responded to emails and their wait time on calls was over an hour. Before I ever got to speak to anyone from the company I received a notification from the product supplier to say the parcel has been returned to them. And they resent it back to their depot in Dublin so months later I still don’t have my parcel and cannot get through to them. I am now going to submit a complaint to the CCPC as this company needs to be held accountable.

Would be helpful to update tracking so customers are informed. Have changed 1 star to 3 stars. Let’s see if I can give 5 stars on the next delivery.👍.
I wasn’t going to be at home so I re-directed the delivery to a neighbour. The driver called and said he couldn’t find the neighbour’s address. I live in a flat and the neighbour lives in the same building. Despite my neighbour being at home the delivery driver marked the delivery as ‘nobody at home’.The following day I was notified that the item had been delivered to a convenience store 1.2 miles away. I had not requested this. There are much closer stores used by DHL.
DHL notified me late evening on 27 Nov that my scheduled delivery that day could not be delivered because the address was wrong. The address in that notification was 100% correct! The only way I could schedule redelivery was to redo the address - which was EXACTLY the same as the old one. But the earliest date was 1 Dec, 4 days later. The shipment contained specialty fish, which is now inedible. When I spoke with your customer service to try to get an earlier delivery they said there was nothing they could do - no admission of error, no apology. That was an expensive order.
DHL Express has been, without question, the worst courier experience I’ve ever had.Over the past four working days, the driver has logged four false delivery attempts, each claiming “No one was home at the time of delivery.” I was home all day, every day. When I called customer service, they reviewed the GPS data and confirmed the courier had been scanning “customer not available” from an industrial park miles away from my address. In other words, there was never any genuine delivery attempt.The purpose of a courier company is to deliver parcels — yet DHL Express failed even to try. Adding to the frustration, multiple promised call-backs from customer service were never made, and I repeatedly received payment requests for a £72 import fee that had already been covered by the sender.This has been an absolute ordeal, and as of today, I still haven’t received my parcel. I would strongly urge anyone considering DHL Express to look elsewhere, even if it costs a little more — the stress, wasted time, and sheer incompetence are simply not worth it.
