Package was supposed to be signed for and wasnt - got an alert stating that 'I' had signed for it and it was just placed infront of my door. Fraud.Tried to ring customer services and they didnt surprise surprise..... nothing.

Officially a PMP

Studying alone can be very daunting and isolating. I'm glad I opted for the PMP OS with Gabor and Torge. There was consistent support that helped me stay on track. They were very patient with me while I tried to juggle between studying, managing a new role and some personal issues. Couldn't have done this without them.

Terrible company to deal with

UPDATE (26 Nov 2025):Here is a clear timeline of what happened while waiting for my parcel to be delivered by GLS, showing falsified delivery timestamps on their tracking system, which I took screenshots of.24 Nov — GLS marked “consignee absent” even though I was home all day with cameras and an intercom that never rang. The driver only phoned once and never attempted delivery. When I called back immediately, he refused to answer and ignored attempts to contact him throughout the day. There was no card left. No accountability.25 Nov — Parcel was actually delivered mid-morning after I caught the phone call. Again, no buzzer used and no signature requested, which avoided any proof the driver had even reached my building.26 Nov — GLS updated their tracking system to falsely claim the parcel was delivered today (26th Nov), with a “signature” showing as 'delivered'. This is now two false tracking scans in two days, both shifting responsibility away from the driver.Throughout all of this, GLS ignored multiple emails and repeatedly cut me off at the top of the customer service phone queue.This shows a system-wide pattern of false tracking scans, no real delivery attempts, drivers avoiding direct building access, a lack of accountability and unreachable supportAlthough I eventually received my parcel, the process was extremely stressful and is clearly consistent with the many other complaints on Trustpilot. Customers deserve better, and GLS urgently needs major improvement. Complaints can be made to CCPC (Competition and Consumer Protection Commission), and the European Consumer Centre. It's been a very stressful situation to deal with and totally unacceptable that a courier company behaves like this in delivering parcels.

terrible way to do business.

Firstly. You ring the office at 4:40pm and the message says, we are closed, our hours are 9-5 ????Secondly, 10 days after a package coming from Netherlands to Ireland, the app says it went to France, then to Denmark and now it's back in France again ???

Exceptional service

Just had a smyths santy delivery to Edgeworthstown Co Longford,I am 13 years ordering santy stuff online and I have never met a more considerate delivery driver than the gentleman I met today,He knocked first with no parcel and informed me it was smyths and asked was it ok to bring it,He brought it inside the door for me and double checked it was ok to leave it there,you should be very grateful to have this considerate gentleman as part of your workforce because most delivery drivers I’ve met don’t take into consideration there could be kids at home

There are so many things wrong with…

There are so many things wrong with this company. First they won’t give you a timeframe for your delivery, like they expect you to stay at home the whole day and do nothing but stare at your phone and wait for their call. Second, for apartments, they won’t deliver to your apartment door, they’ll park where it is convenient for them for all apartment complex resident can go and collect the parcel even if that is in another street. Third, their costumer service and the delivery department don’t communicate. Even if I told them that i will be away for a week so i requested the delivery to be made on a specific date, they said “we’ll try our best”. Take note that I have already rescheduled this upon receiving their delivery notice. When I was away, I keep on getting notif that there is a delivery. As well as, they will say that they made a delivery attempt in a day when I didn’t get any call from them nor a doorbell. Overall a bad delivery service!

GLS Ireland Lost My Parcel and Didn’t Care

I used to complain about GLS in Italy, but I had yet to experience just how bad their service could be in Ireland — unbelievable.I was expecting a parcel via GLS, and on Saturday I received an email saying it had been delivered. Completely false. I was at home the entire time, with a clear view of the window. I immediately checked outside and, of course, the parcel was nowhere to be found. So here’s the first issue: the driver didn’t even attempt to ring the bell or call me, and apparently just left the package who knows where.But it gets even worse. Their customer service is somehow even more embarrassing than the delivery itself. I called to explain the situation, and they found out that the driver had left the parcel at a location that is not my address. Their solution? The driver might call me within the next three days. Not guaranteed, not obligated — just “maybe.” Spoiler: it never happened.I also sent an email to explain the issue in detail, and I never received a reply.So to recap: a terrible service that loses parcels and a customer service team that is completely useless because they offer zero real support. I’m genuinely shocked that companies still rely on GLS for deliveries.
