Review Time
No call from delivery driver and they threw the parcel on the pavement outside in the rain while the apartment lobby door was open with parcels from different delivery companies inside just lucky my new phone wasn't stolen or damaged by rain.
I ordered a new closet for my house. Initially Sliderobes provided a very efficient service and the designer Manuel seemed very good. When it came time for installation the problems started. The finished result was extremely poor. My builder, a carpenter by trade was shocked - he said it was some of the worst workmanship he had seen. To start with the handles down one side were uneven, they were out by about 5mm. Then there was the scribing, it looked as though it had been done by a beaver. I contacted Sliderobes on three occasions and also rang Manuel twice but no one answers or replies to emails. I really feel duped and would warn others about using them.
My warranty paperwork says that in the event of wishing to make a claim, I should contact them by email. I did this, giving details and advising them they were welcome to contact my repairer for further information. Three days later I get an email saying "In order to progress your claim, the proposed repairer needs to provide us with xyz information." So it's taken them that long to tell me that contacting them in the way they've told me to, is completely pointless and I should just have given the repairer their number to call in the first place. Way to go.UPDATE: Got my response back about the work. Out of half a dozen things wrong with the vehicle, guess which one was accepted for the warranty? The cheapest one, about twenty quid. Everything else is 'wear and tear'. The only way this warranty won't have been a complete waste of money is if something else that *is* covered goes wrong with the vehicle in the next three months.
Sliderobes had fitted wardrobes in our sons' bedrooms more than a decade ago and we had been very pleased with the quality of the design and service - they had proved to be very robust and timeless. When we came to refurbish our dressing room and master bedroom including new wardrobes recently we were naturally inclined to use Sliderobes again . We did research competitor products but found their quality inferior. Reverting to Sliderobes was an easy decision for us and we have not been disappointed. The design consultation visits, the fitting and the communication pre and post completion, were all carried out efficiently and diligently. We are completely satisfied with the results and would like to thank Jonathan (design) and Mitch (fitting) for their excellent professional service.
