I just need to know who appealservice.co answer to.... meaning which company can further investigate this illegal unethical and unprofessional company. Due to not being able to access there portal because there was an I.T issues. I sent supporting documents via I.T support to forward to the revelent department. This happened a few times as the portal wasn't working then I was have told to pay a fine even though I have evidence of payment.There must be a board who investigate the service appealservice provide. For example, the education arena would have Ofsted, housing would be Ombudsman. Not sure about you guys but I am going further. Yes I will pay now but they will end up compensating for wasting my money. Again, which independent service overseas appealservice are actually correctly exercising the right procedure when processing appeals. HP
The same company who took the money for the unfair penalty fare emitted to me because a card reader was faulty. The company is legally independent, but they are the same people running the business for the train company. So after you appeal, they will start randomly blaming you for things you have never done, like travelling without credit in the card, until you give up and pay to avoid the hassle. The classic authorized rip-off. Ridiculous. Completely useless service!
These bunch of cowboys need a dose of Margret Thatchers Beeching treatment. Totally unfit for purpose. Their concrete thinking is so one dimensional it can’t take in to account Bank Holidays and postal services don’t run. Don’t expect any truck with these “copy & paste” Charlatans. They hide behind cosy rules which mean the status quo prevails.
Utterly useless and incompetent company. This company is supposed to handle appeals for South West Trains and several other public transport providers. They use the tag line “independent, transparent and fair”. They are anything but. Didn’t even bother reading my appeal and sent me back a bog standard template letter with no reference to appeal. Absolutely pointless process. Not fit for purpose.
I appealed in regards to a ticket I received at the Stansted train station. Their answer was a standard template reply mostly unrelated/non-relevant to the reasons behind my appeal. This, I believe, defeats the purpose for such a company to exist. Quite disappointing.
I received a letter to my old address I have not lived at for two years claiming either myself or my adult son tried to evade a penalty fare at Vauxhall 04/03/ 2019. I have written an appeal letter advising I now live in Kent and have not used Vauxhall in two years plus, my son was in Tenerife for the date. I have asked for CCTV and a reply as to who they are looking for? my son or myself as I am assuming they are not claiming both of us were evading fares. I have also advised I believe I know who gave our name and old address. For six weeks I have had the stress of chasing this and apart from two emails too claim they are extremely busy I have still not had a decision. If you try to update on line the website tells you your claim is already live and there is no number to contact. There is a p.o.box or an address to write to, but I or my son are not the culprits. What a shoddy system of accusing people of dishonesty without a shred of evidence and at the moment not supplying the evidence we need to defend ourselves. I am now seeking legal advice on this
The people who are running this should be in jail. Passengers are getting penalized because of not properly functioning Oyster card readers. This is a completely unfair system. A faulty machine is provided at Swanley station and a crowd of white male vultures working for Southeastern are waiting on the other side on the line. They are not listening to any reasoning and issuing unfair penalties. The appeal service sends out only a robotic copy past text rejecting any appeal. Cheating criminals, that's what this is.
I was stopped today 12/12/2018 in Hounslow Central (zone 4) by a badge Inspector LU0245 and I gave a fine of £ 40 because I was an egg of zone I having a ticket with zone 2-6 included. It did not was able to prove that I was wrong, just gave me the fine, a very badly educated, very disgusting guy
