Review Time
Bought this shower a week ago and got round to fitting it yesterday. Well constructed and easy to install. A few tips, the nuts at the back of the riser wall brackets are fiddly, put a dab of silicone on them and that holds them in place while you screw in. Also the connection between the riser and valve was leaking, however as you tighten it it loosens from the riser, should have been a clockwise thread. Attached it to the valve then screwed it into riser, no leaks, perfect. The shower is a pleasure to use
I bought a wooden toilet seat with slow close from a company called Trago Mills it was made by Aqualona. I had the seat for about six months and as it was a 'slow close' seat, it started to slam down. I couldn't prove when I bought it as I had thrown away the receipt. I emailed the company and they sent tme a link to a video on how to adjust it. I watched their video and for a while it worked. Two months later I was having the same problem and had to keep adjusting the seat, so much I had the spanner in the bathroom all of the time. I emailed them again to tell them it was falling down and I was frightened to tighten it any more as I thought it would break. No reply at all. Now a month later the bracket on the seat has broken off and I have had to buy a new seat from a different company. No Customer Support. I will never buy from them again.
Prior to my retirement in 2007, I spent the final 25 years of my career holding strategic customer service positions within the same global organisation. Needless to say, excellent customer services are very close to my heart.The level of customer service recently provided to my wife and I by Ms Chloe Pullin of Aqualona Products was absolutely superb. World class, even. Companies that provide EMPOWERMENT at the first point of call, understand the true value of customer satisfaction. Kudos to Ms Pullin for both the speed and manner by which she resolved the issue at hand. Such a superb ambassador for the Aqualona brand.
Recently had a problem with a bath mat which i purchased from a store. I had to contact the manufacturer to nake a complaint. I can say that my problem was taken seriously and i was given advice on how to solve my problem. I was also offered a choice of replacement by Tracy from Customer care. I was treated with courtesy and undetstanding which resulted in a good resolution. Tracy was very efficent and caring and i feel a credit to this company.
We have two aquafixed shower heads which are amazing. A washer had broken in one resulting in a small leak. Had visitors coming and couldn’t buy a replacement from retailer in time to fix. Contacted Aqualona in the hope of getting a replacement washer, they sent a new shower head free of charge! How many companies out there treat customers this well?
Bought one of their admittedly cheap wooden toilet seats from Dunelm. Really poor quality. No instructions and the YouTube instructions I found were next to useless. Various washers and holes - you have to guess what is right. After fitting the seat I realised that the pattern wrap was coming away a bit at both hinge end and lift end. Avoid.
