I had a troubling experience at the ATM in Viborg last night while trying to withdraw cash as a visitor. I thought it would be beneficial to have some local currency. After inserting my card, the ATM displayed a "Temporarily out of service" message, and my card was not returned. The screen returned to normal after three minutes. A lady behind me tried her card, which worked better, but she only received a receipt and no cash. I contacted customer service, but they couldn’t assist until the next morning. When I called again today, I was advised to visit the branch for help with my card or to call them directly. Thankfully, I chose to call again instead of driving over. I found out that no one at the branch has access to the ATM; a third-party company will eventually come to handle it, and my card will be destroyed due to regulations. They acknowledged ongoing issues with the ATM for the past three days. It would have been better to put up a sign or disable it instead of allowing it to swallow people's cards. Now, I'm left without a card for six months while studying here in Denmark. This has been the most disappointing service and lack of empathy I've experienced from a bank to date. I will be avoiding them in the future.

Despite having no dependents, a stable income, and significant savings, my application was rejected for vague reasons that don't reflect my financial situation. Their processes are inefficient, their communication is lacking, and overall, it’s been a completely unsatisfactory experience.
This bank has one of the most challenging account opening processes imaginable. They treat potential clients with suspicion, demanding past transaction histories and explanations for legitimate transactions made at other banks. The process dragged on for 1.5 months, only to end in a rejection without clear reasons, possibly due to language discrimination—using English instead of the local language—since no explanation was given for denying a credit card application.
As others have mentioned, they are unresponsive; don’t count on them getting back to you. I waited over two weeks for a response regarding a house loan, called them three times, where the advisor was supposed to get a message and had 48 hours to reply. Nothing.
If I could rate them lower than one star, I definitely would. Since moving to Denmark seven years ago, I have been a loyal customer of this bank, mainly because they offered a free account with a shorter waiting time than others. However, I’ve had several concerning experiences, like being unable to speak to an advisor during business hours. Recently, while in discussions about purchasing a property, the treatment I received was shocking. I was told I needed a much higher down payment solely because I am a foreigner. This bank’s attitude towards international clients is unacceptable.
We were planning to move all our accounts from another bank to this one. We communicated with their department for over two months, but nothing progressed. We decided to go with a different bank, and they set up our accounts in just 48 hours! I cannot recommend this bank; it’s just a waste of time.

I won’t go into details, as I am not their customer, but this feedback is directed at the personnel and their arrogance, which reflects poorly on the bank.
This is total nonsense! They claim to be the preferred bank for 15 years in a row, yet they lock my internet account when I’m abroad for security reasons. When I contacted them from my official work email, I was rudely told that I needed to visit a branch with my ID to reopen my account. This is unacceptable customer service!
