Terrible experience. Wont be ordering from Argos again. The oven I ordered arrived broken and they made zero effort to try and collect their broken appliance. They insisted I wait a month with a broken oven sat in the middle of my kitchen floor, with no means of cooking food for my young children. The customer service team were all foreign and barely understood english. It was like talking to a brick wall. They eventually collected the oven and I refused to re order a new one and went elsewhere to a more reputable supplier.
The returns process is beyond ridiculous which prevents customers buying with confidence. I purchased an item online, and the picture on the box of the item received was very different to the picture online. I took the item into a store to return, and was told I first had to call a number. The call lasted over ten minutes given holding time, having to give my details multiple times and the in-store Argos employee having to talk to the on-phone Argos employee on my phone. Utterly inefficient and such a waste of my time for something that was Argos’s fault in the first place. I don’t envisage myself shopping from Argos again given this experience.
