Their cancellation policies are…

Their cancellation policies are extremely scammy - they stick things in the fine print to charge you for a full year EVEN if you are on monthly or quarterly payments. Then EVEN if you cancel with the correct forms they claim "we never received it". DO NOT do business with this company unless you want their ridiculous legal threats.

Poor Value and Inflexible Service

SummaryDespite paying €200+ monthly for basic family coverage, Asisa has proven to be poor value with restrictive terms and limited provider networks. Major Issues Experienced:1. Extremely Limited Provider NetworkVery few doctors in the Barcelona area accept Asisa, making it difficult to find available healthcare providers. This defeats the main purpose of having private insurance - quick access to medical care.2. Long Waiting Periods for Basic ServicesEven after paying premiums for 6+ months, I was told I cannot get an MRI until August 2025 due to “waiting periods” (carencias). This means paying hundreds of euros monthly while being unable to access essential diagnostic services.3. Completely Inflexible Contract Terms- Cannot remove family members mid-year (classified as “cancellation”)- Cannot downgrade coverage to reduce costs- Cannot make any modifications except contact details- Locked into annual contracts with no mid-year exit options- Must give notice by November 30th to cancel the following year 4. Poor Customer ServiceWhen requesting to reduce coverage due to non-use, customer service simply quoted contract terms rather than offering solutions. Multiple emails required to get basic information about policy limitations.What I Learned:- Research provider networks thoroughly before signing- Ask specifically about waiting periods for diagnostic tests- Consider more flexible insurers like Sanitas or DKV- Read all contract terms regarding modifications and cancellationsFor the same or lower cost, other providers offer better networks, shorter waiting periods, and more flexible terms. Asisa appears to prioritize contract enforcement over customer satisfaction.Advice for Others:If you’re considering Asisa, ask specifically about:- Exact waiting periods for MRI, CT scans, and specialists- Number of providers in your specific area- Policy modification options mid-contract- Early termination possibilitiesResearch Sanitas, DKV, or Mapfre for potentially better coverage and flexibility in Spain.

I used Asisa dental in elche

I used Asisa dental in elche , the process took many months longer then quoted, temporary teeth that were crooked, filling that fell out and had to pay for another ,tried to over charge me by 340, refused to pay back money they owed me, suffice to say , go else where

It is so confusing, ypu have to call for almost anything and they make mistakes telling you what it s covered and what it s not, it results in a waste of time and frustration

Spanish and English---ES...La peor compañía de seguros que he visto jamás; deshonesta, inventa trabas y ofrece una cobertura muy limitada.Después de contratar el plan más caro:Casi no hay medicamentos fuera de las grandes ciudades.Servicio de atención al cliente atroz (soy español; el problema ni siquiera es el idioma).Para cancelar la suscripción te obligan a entrar en una web que no funciona y a introducir los datos de cada persona y tipo de seguro. Y repito: ESE FORMULARIO NO FUNCIONA.EN···The worst insurance company I've ever seen; dishonest, made-up friction/problems and narrow cover.After taking the most expensive plan:- Almost no meds out of big cities.- Atrocious customer service (I am spanish, is not even about the language).- When cancelling subscription they force you to go to a website that is not working and add data for every person and type of insurance. And I repeat, that website FORM IS NOT WORKING.

Doctors do not want to work with ASISA

It is hard to find professionals that actually want to work with ASISA. i have to travel 50+KM for a doctor appointment.All of them complaint about the same. ASISA pay too low to physicians.
