I strongly advise against choosing Asisa. I paid for 6 months upfront, and they charged me immediately, but that’s where the service ended. For months, I have been unable to get my actual insurance card. I only received a provisional one, which has already expired, leaving me with no proof of insurance when I actually need it.
To make matters worse, it's impossible to log into their app. I’ve reached out multiple times but still haven't received my card or any real help. Save yourself the frustration – it's better to pay 15€ more per month elsewhere than to waste your time and money with Asisa. Totally unprofessional
ASISA is terrible in every aspect. Poor service, incompetent and unhelpful customer support, and zero consideration for customers. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with an insurance company.,ASISA es pésima en todos los aspectos. Servicio horrible, atención al cliente incompetente y nada de consideración por el cliente. Una de las peores experiencias que he tenido con una aseguradora.
Customer service is pure shit. Ive been waiting to find out where to get coverage for a test for days.[#21296814] Where can I get a CT scan in Malaga covered by your insurance?/¿Dónde puedo hacerme una tomografía computarizada en Málaga cubierta por vuestro seguro?
Utterly appalling customer service.I asked to cancel my policy so I could take up a better deal elsewhere, and what did ASISA do? They threatened to derail my visa application and slap a “default” marker on my file. Charming. Nothing says “we care about our customers” like trying to ruin someone’s life and finances out of sheer pettiness. Bravo, ASISA. Truly professional.Trying to reach a customer service advisor is like hunting for Bigfoot. Emails crawl along at a glacial pace, leaving you wondering if you accidentally entered a time warp. And the insurance documentation? Not automatically sent, of course. You have to grovel for it. Even though it’s essential for something like, oh I don’t know, a visa application. But hey, why make life easy when you can make it Kafkaesque?I attempted to cancel next year’s policy, only to be told the deadline was November 30th - a month before the new one begins! Conveniently, no one bothered to inform me of the price hike until I specifically demanded the documents. Now, thanks to their deceitful tactics, I’m trapped in another 12-month contract that hasn’t even started yet. I explicitly said I wanted to cancel, recorded it, and yet ASISA still insists on holding me hostage. Classy. No wonder this company earns a magnificent two-star rating. Honestly, I’m surprised it’s not one star.My advice: stay far, far away from ASISA. Find a Spanish insurance broker instead – they speak English and actually understand the concept of “customer service.” they will find you a better, cheaper policy with a customer focussed staff. This is the threatening, blackmail-email they sent to me - strangely very quickly for once from Olivia Foster - fostering goodwill, not!"For your information, we are obliged to advise the immigration office in ******** of all non-payment; therefore, we remind you that as you have used this policy as part of your visa/residency renewal, this may lead to your visa/residency being denied or revoked.Dear AnthonyFurther to your conversation with my colleague Liam, it is important that you are fully informed and understand that you cannot legally cancel your Asisa Health Insurance Policy Nº ******* for the year 2026 for 2 reasons according to the contract that you agreed to on contracting your policy:1. You did not notify us of your request before the 30th of November 20252. On 01/12/2025, you requested and were issued documentation confirming that you hold valid health insurance coverage through the end of 2026 for the purpose of supporting your visa renewal. Please be advised that failure to make the required payments for your Asisa Health Insurance policy will result in you being registered as a default payee, and legal action may follow.Additionally, non-payment will invalidate the documentation provided for your visa renewal, and the ******* immigration office will be notified of the default. We will continue to monitor the payment status of your 2026 policy. If you have any questions or require further information, please contact us by replying to this email, calling us on ******, or requesting a call back through our website. To assist you more efficiently in any communication with us, please include:1. your full name: ******** 2. policy number: ********Have a lovely day!Kind regardsOlivia FosterAsisa Health Insurance Customer Service________________________________Following the response I tried searching for Asisa on Facebook with the information they provided. I could not find them. Normally customer service deal with complaints - i thin ASISA use the rubbish bib to bury them. Useless!
In my case, they didn't respect their own contract terms:I created a policy with Asisa through their website and afterwards, I learned that if I want English support, I need to create a policy with a different department. That department asked me to cancel my existing policy and create a new one with them because they can't move it over or cancel it for me. As my contract clearly states, I am able to cancel my agreement within 14 days of signing. I submitted my cancellation request on the 11th day. They only responded two weeks later and told me that I can only cancel after 12 months and that I still need to pay for my initial policy, even though by this point I had the new one created. So they effectively asked me to pay for two policies for the same person. This goes against their own contract terms and against consumer protections and despite this, they have repeatedly refused to cancel the policy.Be very careful when you create a policy that you create it with the right department from the beginning, otherwise trying to cancel will be a nightmare.

I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star if I could. My doctor wants me to have an MIR scan. I can’t get through to speak to any English staff, although was told when we took out this policy there would always be English staff available. Absolutely disgusting service. Don’t waste your money they are useless.
