Now looking at the most recent reviews, I'd wish I'd given this company a very wide birth, never again. Please don't make the same mistake.
Received the item, but didn't like it. The buckle was too bulky and rubbed my wrist so wanted to return it. Like another reviewer said, I've had countless messages back and forth trying to not let me send the band back (you got to ask yourself why!).
First email offering pay us £10 more and will send another band of your choice (and keep original), I said no I want to return the item for a refund. Then got a further message 30% refund, said no to that, then 50%, I said no thanks. I then said okay give me 70% and it's a deal otherwise give me your return address (which again seem to reluctantly to give for some reason) now I've not had a reply (Sherwin was the contact at the company).
Looking at all these reviews leads me to think these guys are to be avoided at all costs. They DO NOT honour their return policy although they preach how amazing it is if there's ever a problem. Family business, celebrity recommend, blah, blah yeah right. DO NOT BUY.
I will be contacting my bank, like another reviewer did to see what they can do. Probably nothing, but hey.
Astra offers a wide variety of straps..in different materials and different colors to coordinate with your wardrobe. I have ordered several and most are easy to adjust. When one was not, i sought out help through customer service which was exceptional!
Dreadful customer service. Their website states they offer a full refund of their item is unworn and not damaged. I emailed the next day asking for a refund and how I can send this item back. They offered every single alternative and 30% refund and to keep the watch strap only which is unfair and not what I wanted as it did not fit my wrist and appears to be cheaply made compared to what I paid for it. It was only when I stated I would go through my bank they said they’d offer payment. This company is a company I’d avoid at all costs.
As an experienced retailer, I truly understand the essence of excellent customer service, which extends beyond just the sales experience. It's in the after-sales support where this company has truly impressed me, earning my 5-star rating. We ordered three straps for my wife and me. One strap featured a sports/elastic/velcro closure, but it only had three closures when it needed five to fit my wife's wrist correctly. Upon reaching out to the support team with our issue, we received prompt and courteous assistance, leading to a satisfactory solution. Great job!
The service provides an impressive range of options at reasonable prices. Additionally, their responsiveness and professionalism in addressing a product concern were commendable. I will certainly think of them for my next watch band.
I bought my first band in July, 2025. By late October, the clasp had broken. They sent me a replacement, but by mid-December, that one was also broken. I reached out to the support team for a refund and was informed, "As per our policy, we can only offer one resolution per order, which includes a replacement." Be cautious!
I received my band for my smartwatch, but it disintegrated after just a week of use. The strap and the attachment piece, which is made of plastic, are already breaking down, rendering my strap unusable. I'm unsure how it was meant to stay intact—perhaps with some strong adhesive. I'm currently awaiting a response from the support team, but given the low quality of the product, I only intend to return it for a full refund.
