I sold my apartment with Auctioneera. The online dashboard kept me up to date with upcoming viewings, I received detailed reports after each viewing and seeing the bids come in, in real time was very exciting. Great experience, delighted with the price achieved and the fee I paid!
I have bought and sold my house through Auctioneera. I have been dealing with team in the office throughout the process and could not recommend Auctioneera highly enough. Always accessible, always efficient, always of great advice and always friendly!Their online platform 'just works' exactly like it says on the tin...the last few moments before a bidding deadline are both exhilarating (when you sell) and stressful (when you buy) but at least there is instant certainty!! The backend is simple to use and the feedback logged by the agent after each visit is as concise as it is informative.Costs wise, everything is upfront, there are no surprises, and the final bill is exactly as stated from the onset of dealing with them.All in all, congratulations to Auctioneera's team on buying and selling jobs well done and I would most certainly have no hesitation recommending Auctioneera for any property deal.
What can I say, what a waste of time and a scam! After two weeks and the clock countdown it was time to bid on a house around €950k. There were only two of us bidding for the last 20 minutes. Evey time I put an offer on, when I refreshed the page to update my offer there was an automatic outbid €1k higher offer put on the house by the other bidder and just went on and on every time we bid. There is no facility on the site to automatic bid, It was too quick for a human to put on the offers as we watched it on another device, we couldn't believe what was happening. It was definitely an algorithm bidding against us. We ended up stopping when it came to our max bid while it was getting out of hand and we were outbid. Next day I got a call, the vendor decided to go with us as the "other" party dropped out, the auctioneers wanted and pushed us to agree on the price we last bid while all along the second bidder bid us up. We declined and house and it was back up for sale an hour later.Feels like a total scam. Avoid altogether when buying and id even say selling as if the vendor went with a reputable company we would have bought the house. Anyone can bid on the houses without submitting paperwork so be cautious.
Awful experience. Went through online platform (15 day bidding platform with countdown) twice for same property (a 2 bed in Hampton, closer to Ballymun than Finglas tbf)- was highest bidder at deadline on second time at €22k over asking. Vendors then demanded another €13k “at least” to go Sale Agreed- pure greed and mockery of a system that buyers engage with in good faith. Why set the asking price at €40k lower than you are “willing” to accept? Turns out they wanted to go back to the top bidder from the first online platform process (though they hadn’t engaged with the second) and then tried to play both of us off against each other- no thanks!! Absolute waste of time and energy. Wouldn’t go near this Estate Agents again.Very poor communication and lack of information from Lee- hadn’t a clue about the property.Would not recommend at all.
I would give zero stars if it was an option. Farcical service throughout,met Lee from day 1 he gave incorrect information about booking deposits,the current status of documents on the home i was putting an offer on. We were lead down a merry path for months,they didn't do a walk through of the property when we got the keys (6 painful months later) and even though it was requested the house be rid of old furniture and that wasn't done we were told we were lucky to have the keys. Avoid like the plague,Lee was so unhelpful throughout.
Had an amazing experience with this company. Dealt with Robert throughout it all and Eddie step in when Robert was on holidays so no being left in limbo waiting for calls back etc. Very prompt communication from emails, calls etc everyone was kept in the loop... thanks for all your help Robert you were amazing 👏
