This company is fraudulent and deceptive. They advertise that the shoes purchased is a company in Sydney, the shoes are orthopaedic, and they have a great return policy. All are lies! The company sent shoes from China. The orthopaedic side is just a pop in pop out mat. From reading other reviews their return policy is non existent. I will not be returning the shoes. They advertise half sizes i.e. 8.5 but the shoes do not have any size on them, so I believe that they just give you the next size up i.e 9 in this example.To top this off, I looked up Sketcher shoes on Google and guess what? There are the same shoes on Temu for just over $10! You will pay close to $60 from Aussie-Wear, claiming they are on sale!!
It's a scam. I purchased a pair of supposed leather clogs on a half price sale, like others I thought they were in Australia. They arrived...all plastic with a thin layer of leather suede across the top. I emailed them to complain they said I had to return them to Singapore at my expense as per their Ts and Cs or they would refund a third of the cost. I asked about their refund process and next thing they paid $20 back to PayPal leaving me $44 out of pocket and a cheap and nasty pair of shoes that will go to the op shop. DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE.
They know where to draw the fine line of the law.The products advertised are wholly misleading, so does the return policy, as it does not state return address in China. Remarkably they insist on FedEx. With the reviews he is basking in the sun, since all are conned.I do hope gov shuts them down.
A one star rating for this company is too high. Like many others, I have found that their products are not as advertised, that they are of poor quality and that they make it extremely difficult and expensive to return their defective items and receive a refund. I was hoping that I was dealing with an honest to goodness Australian company that had items made in China but that took responsibility for and pride in the quality of the products they sold to their fellow Australians. I have been very disappointed . Save your money and your time, don't attempt to do business with Aussie Wear.
I would like to give zero starsMisleading images and poor quality It is not an Australian company, despite the name, and that they claim to have a warehouse in Sydney, but returns need to go to China. Postage then makes returns near useless as postage is 50% of the return amount
This is not an Australian Company, They are in China and they send cheap knock offs and to get your money back you need to send the goods back to China which costs more than the item. Please complain to PAYPAL they need to be removed from paypal and facebook.
They are LIARS and THIEVEIf I could put a zero I would!!!I bought shoes from this website. It had good discount on and their advertized it was because the store in Sydney was clausing down. The two co-owners were retiring. I love the shoes call Margaret Elegent Leather from their website. The shoes took way too long to arrive from Sydney! When I checked the traking they were coming from US!!!!! When I finally received the shoes I knew straight away they were grap! The shoes were posted it in plastic bag. Not how you treat leather! And the smell was pure plastic not leather! the stitches horrible. Not confortable. Worse shoes ever!I was already thinking of leaving them a bad review (which I never do!) but when the shoes took months to return to CHINA (Yes, the return adress was China!) and the shoes actually ended up coming back to me because the parcel has never been collected from Aussie Wear! I knew convince I will leave them a bad review! Because 'their policy" is they refund the customer when the shoes are sent back and received to them. But because they don't collect the return items from the customers, they don't have to refund them because of their policy. How convenient! They didn't even want to refund the cost of the sent back!They are a the biggest scam ever!
I purchased 2 knitted sweaters that were nothing like what was advertised. Was told they needed to be returned to China for a refund.Cost me $40 postage and the parcel has been in customs in China since 24/04/25. I keep contacting Zoe Bartlett only to be told I have to wait for it to be delivered, Australia post tells me it will probably be returned to me.Worst company to deal with, it’s just a scam
Not worth 1star. Bought shoes in Feb 2025, arrived March 2025. Very poor quality & sizing. Advised company & was sent return label. Paid cost to send back to China. Was advised by Zoe that when goods received I will be issued with a refund. What a load of rubbish!!!!! Chased up numerous times, always told good not received yet. Been 2 months. Please don't buy from this company. You will be very disappointed.
