Auto docs has untangled my extensive search for a solution in enabling me to get parts for my W123 230E 1984 Auto. It is a challenge in these modern times. The Professionalism in addressing my queries with regard to the compatibility of the NGK Ignition Coil u1076 and Ignition leads is certainly commendable. I am bereft of such Professional advice in Singapore which lacks industry professionals in the Classic car industry which has phased out Classic cars due to its mandatory policy of scrapping cars to keep them off the roads within 10 years. I look forward to purchasing more parts in the near future and continued patronage. I will certainly share my pleasant experience with all my Classic Car Groups in the continued hope that Auto docs will always thrive as a one stop centre in obtaining any available parts to keep the Classic cars relevant against the looming onslaught of electric and other Planned Obsolence vehicles. Placed order on Sunday for product that was parked in stock..Site states 1-2 days dispatch on in stock items..It's now Wednesday and it is still not with the courier...Tried cancelling on Monday as it was still showing as processing.. refused despite distance selling regulations...Addition..I originally tried to cancel before the part shipped.. Despite a number of emails back and forth.. No explanation as to why their system refused that request... They seem more eager to explain why it's not their fault (even though it is)..This is not how you keep customers and build a business...
It is not acceptable to say an item is 'in stock' and promote a 24 hours delivery service when in fact its 'in stock' in another country and takes 5-6 days to get it to the local courier company that can offer 24 hr delivery. You should be transparent about this and give an estimated delivery date of (for example) 7 days!
