I ordered a built in microwave from them , from 30 December they keep delaying saying new stock coming after 3 days then 1 week then after 1 month they said they did not receive new stock , I stayed at home when delivery was promised to arrive but never arrived until 31 January I have been told that refund has been processed to my account without compensation . Completed waste of time , avoid at any cost , terrible !

Ordered a brand new range cooker from the website with next day delivery available. Received a call from one of the sales team asking for my old oven to be disconnected from the mains gas and electricity. Which i had arranged to have done the morning of delivery at a cost to me.Delivery day arrowxl never delivered my oven saying they had attempted to but nobody was home. This is a complete lie as I was at home all day. According to the tracking info they never made it anywhere near my property. Obviously I contacted the absolute useless customer service to find out what was going on only to be told they will not delivery my oven until the following week. This now means I have no way of cooking for a whole week for my two young children. Unacceptable in my eyes.New delivery date comes 4th Dec and yet again my new oven is not delivered. Yet again I spent 35mins on the phone trying to get a solution to this problem. Typically no one has a solution as it's a call centre overseas. They will not refund my money nor will they not give me a date for my oven to be delivered. This company has now stolen my money for a product they promised to deliver. Fraud springs to mind.And I still have no means of cooking for my young kids. Still waiting for replies from emails I've sent to the headofcustomerservices.Delivery postcode if anyone is interested in resolving this problem before I take legal action. Nn128ld.
Order 5556383. And 55669100 Not the best experience with this company Paid for a fridge. Oven. Hob to be fitted. Took a day off work for delivery. Waited til 4pm then rang up. Got told matter of factly your delivery was cancelled because the oven wasn't available even tho i paid. After a frustrating 20mins on hold he told me to replace the oven for same price then have to rebook a delivery and time off work for a new delivery next day I asked will i definitely get my delivery Tomorrow as i dont want to miss work and was told yes definitely no problem. Next day got a text sorry there's an issue with despatch on your order and delivery been rescheduled . . AGAIN waiting in most of the day i rang up and asked was the engineer on way and told yes. Waited til 4pm rang AGAIN and informed he wasn't booked for me today. Another contradiction and phantom delivery. a simple email or call would of be nice to let you know They simply just tell you a date and chuck a time in to get you off the phone. no transcripts of chats to prove what you been told then when you ring up you all you get is "i apologise or "am so sorry in a robot like way .... . I Lost a lot of work just for a simple order.No offer of compensation or a gesture for loosing my days work as am self employed single dad i need to work. totally stressful and frustrating from the minute i paid my order. 4 weeks and still waiting for new hob to be fitted. Not Happy. Be warry.
I wish there was an option for less than one star, this company deserves it. Purchasing online was a breeze, how quickly payment was taken .. order was confirmed with delivery date. I then received an email from the courier to confirm delivery. This was then followed by e-mail saying they could not deliver as 1 item was missing .. there was only one item in the order. Contacted courier, no explanation. Contacted Retailer .. I requested the order be cancelled as there appeared to be no product in delivery but the -email I received after the call was that a case had been raised. I then get a call from the courier to say they'll arrive in 40 mins, they did not and did not call me. When I called them they said they had been rerouted. Went back to the Retailer and was basically palmed off with a load of rubbish about them needing confirmation from the courier that the order could not be fulfilled before refunding. I decided to raise a dispute with my credit card provider as I have lost any trust/faith that this retailer can resolve this quickly and satisfactorily. My constructive advice .. do something else, rather than inflicting themselves on others. My mistake? .. not checking the reviews on this site.
After a very long time in email communication checking that they would not deduct a percentage for any damage to the boxing I sent the item back in pristine condition that had not been touched other than for me to personally inspect it and put it straight back in its bubble wrap and I got a rude text to tell me that there were dents and scratches all over it and they would be taking 20% of my money out of my refund. I have asked them for their information because I will be taking this matter to Court. These kind of firms need to be stopped.
I ordered an air conditioning unit from Appliances Direct and paid extra for next-day delivery. During the checkout process, I was asked to provide my installer’s details, as the product contains refrigerant gas. That’s fair enough — but despite sending my installer’s F-Gas competence certificate, company name, installer name, and postcode three separate times, they continue to claim they haven’t received the information.I’ve provided everything exactly as requested, yet they’ve failed to release the product or deliver it, while still holding on to my money. Communication has been confusing (operatives from abroad) and inconsistent, and there’s been no sign of resolution or accountability.when I purchased, I was given several installation options, including using my own installer or using one of their recommended installers (maybe this could be the difficulty in wanting to use my own?) it’s misleading to allow an option to use your own installer if they’re unable (or unwilling) to process legitimate installer credentials promptly.At this point, I’m left out of pocket with no product and no confidence in their customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase to think twice before ordering from Appliances Direct.
