Take a page from Ali's book on customer service

After much time and no correspondence to inform of my certificate status, I called the student success team and was put in touch with Ali. Ali attended to my issue with diligence and professionalism, he was kind and informative and a true credit to Avado. Without Ali's intervention I would have been really disappointed with my service at Avado.

Choosing Avado was the best decision I made for my career!

Choosing Avado as the learning provider to kickstart my HR career was the best decision I made. I chose to undertake the Level 3 certification with Avado, and from the get go was provided with a lot of support from Mona, the enrolment consultant. Mona was extremely helpful, polite, patient and provided me with the necessary information I needed regarding the course, financing options, so I could make the most informed decision regarding my studying arrangements. The course content itself was extremely well-structured and the virtual lectures and seminars taught by my tutor Jacqui were concise and very insightful and gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed to submit my assignments on time and pass my course at my first attempt. Feedback was provided for each unit undertaken, and Jacqui was extensive in covering the examination requirements required to pass each unit.I'm currently undertaking my level 5 CIPD qualification with Avado, and very happy I chose them as a provider. I feel I've made huge strides in my career with the way they've helped facilitate my learning and development. - Hassan (Aug 21 Cohort)

10 points and more

Avado gave me an opportunity to learn CIPD. Love Jacqui and the interactive quizzes. I have some pointers if they could consider it, it would be great:1. Connectivity: Upon payment, Avado counsellor can give link to student to connect with students. Ideally an Avado app would help. Social learning in Hub is really dull. For starters, at least a whatsapp or telegram group would help.2. Mentor facility: Those who wish to learn from others who passed certain levels regarding how they completed assessment or learning methods or even secure a better job would be helpful. Again this can help with point 1. 3. Readings: If these were combined concisely in PDF or Youtube channel would be great.4. Faculty move: There should be a section where students can quiz each other. Those who get highest (top 3) points, their q n a will be shown in quizzes,5. Assessment: After quiz results, these points should be linked to assessment grading as well. 6. Notes or message to tutor: Noone has used it yet. I havent even used the tutor message, I send her email and its faster. So please remove it.7. Linkedin: Avado and CIPD please make it a mandatory requirement that students connect with tutors and alumni to have the inclusion and career growth.8. Job opportunities: Similar to FastFutures programme, can a similar one be for CIPD students where they can practice their learning , at least as apprentice and possible job opportunities in UK or remotely.9. Notifications: There is no notification to my email or number, when a new course is opened10. Search bar: Genuinely need one in hubThank you for listening Avado and hope you implement them in coming months itself so I can be visibly using them during my course.

Do not effectively cater to neurodiverse clients.

I have successfully qualified as an HR professional with Avado, I have to say that the tutor I was allocated was patient and helpful. As well as the person in the sales/enrollment Dept. This person took on board my educational needs and supposed to pass them to their specialist learning team. This happened but I was never contacted by their SEN Dept. The Student service line were very helpful and effective. However, Avado's message your tutor phone service is appalling as it is always full and you can never get hold of your tutor. I had to email my tutor and arrange phone calls that way. I raised the issue numerous times with Student Services, but nothing was done. Also a one time replacement tutor asked a question and when I answered, his reaction made me feel embarrassed and humiliated. I'm sure he didn't mean to make me feel like it but even so.

Not recommending Avado

3 weeks after starting my course my circumstances changed and my mental health deteriorated to a level that I lost sleep and couldn't perform well at work which directly affected my life. As a result I couldn't continue my studies and I contacted avado to cancel my enrolment with a doctors letter explaining my mental health condition.Avado didn't support my cancellation even when provided doctors letters. An organisation that doesn't take seriously students suffering from anxiety and depression is no good. They will only seek for you to pay for a service you are not even able to mentally pull through. I did not request for a full refund only that payments should cease since I am leaving the course. They dismissed my case implying that my bad mental health is not indefinite and they would continue to take payments and only give me a 6 month break and a 200 pound penalty to sign up again after 6 months have passed. It is ironic how this organisation is providing HR and people management qualifications but has no regard on people's life's circumstances and puts money above everything.

I'm loving learning with Avado

I'm loving learning with Avado. Mona Liaquat was extremely informative and supportive in helping me choose the right level of study and helping me get started. I could not have wished for a better tutor, Loretta McKay has been brilliant in helping me confidently tackle my first assignment.
