having received my new machine, I began to assemble according to the instruction booklet. on trying to connect the hose pipe connection with inline filter it became apparent that the fitting had broken off inside the outer casing. On contacting AVA customer services by email I received a response from Rachel who requested all details including photos to resolve the problem. On sending the requested details etc Rachel responded within 15 minutes with a solution to the issue. Collection arranged for damaged machine, new machine to be ordered when collection confirmed. Problem solved in less than 24 hours. Many thanks to Rachel who understood what the problem was and for being professional, polite and courteous. A credit to AVA customer services.
Purchased a P80 pressure washer with the giga pack in January 2026. Initially the item worked fantastically well and I was really happy with my purchase. However, on the 3rd use, the washer stopped working completely - no power coming from the unit. I contacted AVA customer services detailing the issue, sending proof of purchase, warranty registration and a short video of the issue the team were very good and arranged for a collection for the item to be returned to JMS Janitorial supplies - I believe their UK agent. The item was returned exactly a week later by DHL who left the box outside on the drive as no one was home - we had absolutely no idea it was being returned. In the box was the pressure washer and 2 new nozzles. Apparently, the diagnosis for the a brand new £600.00 pressure washer ceasing to work after 2 uses was a blocked nozzle. I did question this but was advised that this was indeed the case. I tested the washer immediately and it worked as it should on a short test. Fast forward to the following day when I attempted to wash my car. The washer worked for c2mins and stopped as it did previously. So, now in the process of requesting a replacement item or a refund. It’s clearly not an isolated issue. I emailed JMS Janitorial Supples for an update on the original repair. Unfortunately, the initial response I got was for a completely different customer with a different issue but, the response did state they were working through a high number of warranty claims and were very busy.
You may have you wait a day or 2 to get a reply from the customer service team but they handled my warranty claim very well. I received 2 discount codes so that I could add the item to my cart on the ava website and receive free shipping and the item itself for free.
Had this a few months now and continue to be impressed by its performance. Used it over winter to wash the car and just recently unpackaged the patio cleaner attachment to clean my paved garden. Impressive, excellent results with the machine and the AVA patio cleaner fluid. So much easier to use than Karcher and better results.
