Pc arrived a day late as I paid extra for fast shipping, cpu cooler arrived broken with it hanging on the pc and gpu not installed at all. I’ll definitely avoid this company in the future considering I literally paid a premium price. I would have expected better.
Update: it seems the cpu cooler wasn’t broken it just came off during shipping. As for the gpu it didn’t take long to install as customer support guided me through the steps. Overall I’ll give it 3 stars as this shouldn’t have happened if they packaged it better.
I recently purchased a custom PC from AWD-IT, and while there were some initial hiccups, the final experience was excellent. The build time was about 9-10 days, but the dispatch deadline (the 23rd) passed without any notification, which was a bit frustrating at first.
However, first thing Monday morning, I was informed that the pc had failed its final testing phase. To be honest, I was skeptical and quite upset initially. But by Tuesday morning, I received a phone call explaining that the RAM I had originally chosen (Corsair Vengeance 5400MHz) was causing compatibility issues. To fix this, they provided a free upgrade to Corsair Vengeance RGB 6000MHz instead.
The PC was dispatched immediately via DPD and arrived before 10:30 AM. I can safely say the wait was worth it, and I am very happy with the build. I would highly recommend AWD-IT to anyone looking for a quality gaming setup!
This has been one of the most outstanding shopping experiences I've encountered. The range of payment options was convenient, shipping was remarkably quick, and the product was packaged excellently, arriving in its original packaging in perfect condition! Kudos to the team for their skill and professionalism!
Discovered that my son's frame series arrived without a product key sticker for activating Windows 11 Home. I contacted customer service and spoke with a representative named Kian, who promptly emailed me a key within the hour. Issue resolved!
I was thrilled with my new PC at first, but after a month, it began to crash randomly and display a black screen. I even uninstalled the graphics card, but overall, it's a terrible machine. I've sought assistance from the support team, but nothing has resolved the issues. I'm completely fed up with this company and would advise against purchasing a PC from them.
The service is fantastic, and the PC operates quietly. My feedback may seem a bit nitpicky since there wasn't much to criticize. It's unlikely that other providers will offer similar options, and I mention this in hopes it might be considered! Any minor issues I noted can easily be resolved at home. When it comes to pre-built PCs, they definitely meet and possibly exceed expectations, especially with their streamlined version of Windows. My only suggestions include adjusting the BIOS settings to switch the CPU overclocking from auto to manual, as I noticed the CPU temperatures reaching 95C under constant load. Additionally, improved cable management would be beneficial, though I understand the compact case makes this challenging, and I appreciate the effort made. The customized Windows installation is a plus, eliminating unnecessary bloat while still allowing access to the Microsoft store for specific apps. They also provide the original boxes for the motherboard and GPU, which some other companies fail to do. Overall, it's a fantastic PC that performs excellently, and the streamlined Windows version is a great bonus! This feedback is merely a specific and nitpicky observation aimed at enhancing their service even further!
I placed an order for a 2TB SSD on December 20th for £120.99, which was a reasonable price at that moment. Just four days later, I received a notification stating that my order couldn't be fulfilled due to a "pricing issue." Instead of honoring the original sale, the company offered me a significantly inferior budget model as a "replacement" at no extra cost. For those who may not know, this alternative is a lower-tier drive with a shorter warranty and lifespan compared to what I initially purchased. When I inquired about this, a representative admitted in writing that they didn't have the item in stock and stated, "The new cost to us is significantly higher than the price you paid." According to UK consumer guidelines, retailers can typically only cancel orders for pricing errors if they are obvious mistakes that a customer should have noticed (like a high-value item listed for a fraction of its worth). The price of £120.99 for this drive was within the normal range at the time of purchase. It seems the company is misusing "pricing error" as an excuse to cancel orders simply because their distributor's prices increased after the sale, which is not my responsibility. I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency and the attempt to replace a premium product with a budget one. I plan to report this situation to the relevant authorities.
I ordered the item, but it still hasn't arrived. It was supposed to come four days ago. This has been a disappointing experience. I may cancel my order tomorrow. I'm really unhappy with this situation; it's wasted my time and delayed my PC building plans.
