It was a great experience but I did find it very intense, especially because I was getting back into studying again after so many years. There was a lot of independent learning and researching to do and the tutor Mohammad Afgan Ali was supportive and structured the course really well and he was always willing to help and sending extra reading resources. It was a good step getting back into studying and I did learn a lot more albeit that I know I have only scratched the surface with Networking and Cybersecurity but having a Level 3 under the belt really helps.Overall I would say it is worthwhile doing
Well Structured and Great TutorI was hesitant to sign up for the Networking and Cybersecurity course since I had no prior knowledge but I finally took the chance to sign up. The sign up process was really fast, and I had been sent all the details that I needed to start within 3 days. I will say the course has projects to complete , practicals and written work so be prepared to do research and make sure to follow the instructions of the tutor. The course itself was well structured and I really learnt a lot in such a short amount of time.
This was a course that went into depth on the basics of cyber security and networking. Points to add are great staff support along with a good amount of time to complete work. Shout out to my tutor Irfaan Ahemd as he was a great teacher in all areas.👍🏽
A good intro to the topic. A mix of practical exercises and learning via PowerPoint slides and videos. I would have preferred more practical work and more interactive exercises. I think the course was too compressed to allow for this. The tutor was friendly and approachable. The course has left me wanting more.
Recently attended the Level 3 Cyber Security & Networking course. The course was well structured and there is lots of learning - both theory and practical. The modules are engaging and cover a wide range of related topics. The tutor was really friendly, helpful and supportive.I would say that the practical elements can be quite technical and not something for absolute beginners or those with no interest in a technical role. But even if you decide not to go into Cyber, aspects such as data communication, access management and project management can also be useful in other roles.
I recently completed the networking and cybersecurity course. This is an introductory course and gives you a base understanding of the main principles involved. The course itself was well ran with easy to understand powerpoints and lots of opportunities for collaborative and independent learning. Regular assessments throughout in order to check progress as well as regular feedback to ensure you are on the right track with your responses. Overall a great course. Not one of those courses with a guaranteed role at the end but there is a team dedicated to helping with CVs, job search and interview prep on completion of the course.
