Quality and service are both second to none in Jerusalem!! Some places start out good and go downhill with time, BUT Baltinester is not one of them! My wife and I bought wedding rings here over ten years ago. We were in Jerusalem, and had limited time. We were nervous about having rings sized and shipped to the US, but they were very professional and took care of making our rings with special inscriptions. Fast forward to this week, when my wife and I returned to the store to look around. My wife fell in love with a beautiful Magen David ring, and I am having a pendant specially made as well. Yoram was a huge help in the process, and was ultra quick sizing my wife's ring. Typically I do not write reviews, but Baltinester really does make excellent jewelry (and also, I need this place to keep going strong so I have a place for future anniversary gifts or eventually my daughter's Bat Mitzvah present)!
While I didn't fly in First Class on my recent trip to Israel, I did get First Class treatment by Yoram and his staff at Baltinester Jewelry on Jaffa Road in Jerusalem. It's a beautiful shop with very high quality and unique pieces. I selected a sterling silver and 9K gold Star of David pendant with the word "Jude" in the center on the front and "NEVER AGAIN" on the back. The one they had on display was too small for me so Yoram said that he would be able to have a larger one custom made which would take a couple of weeks and then ship it to my home in New York by DHL. I paid Yoram and returned back home to New York a few days later eagerly awaiting its arrival. When DHL delivered the parcel to me yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the pendant was - exactly the way I had hoped it would look! The packaging was exceptional and included a black velvet pouch, a gift box, a personalized thank you note, as well as 2 candies to make my experience even sweeter. Hats off to Yoram and his staff at Baltinester Jewelry in Jerusalem! Wishing you the best and my heartfelt prayers for peace and security in the beautiful State of Israel.
Baltinester is the best!! I was visiting Israel, and was given the recommendation to stop by this specific shop. I am so grateful for Yoram and his insistence that he can get a personally made ring to the United States for me. I now proudly wear my delicate Jewish star ring, platinum, with diamonds on either side each and every day. Five out of five stars for sure!

I’ve been shopping at Baltinester for over 13 years, sometimes in person, sometimes online, sometimes by phone and text (reachable with toll free US number and by WhatsApp) for custom-made items. Jewelry is beautiful, reasonably priced, well-made, and the customer service is fantastic! They have a HUGE selection of jewelry and Judaica, and if there’s something they don’t have that you want, they can get it very quickly. Shipping is fast.
