Only available online, I lost access to my Personal Account number after changing phones. I attempted to resolve this through my partner's account but was informed that I needed to call customer support. After waiting for over an hour, my call was answered only for the operator to disconnect. I'm now waiting again, already over an hour on hold, and there's no option for a callback. This might be the worst banking experience I've encountered. Customers are treated poorly, service is lacking, and appointments are only available for high-cost loans. Truly, banking options are extremely limited.
The bank is holding over $250,000 of my money, and I can't seem to get it back. I spent more than an hour on hold, was transferred between departments, and experienced multiple hang-ups, with some departments not responding in a reasonable time. It's unacceptable for such a large financial institution to have such poor service. I urgently need access to my money. I've noticed that others are facing similar problems. I've lodged a complaint with the appropriate authority. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this bank.

I give one star to this bank. I waited 93 minutes on hold after receiving a letter instructing me to call about changing my linked account. Eventually, I gave up. I filled out their online form and submitted it. Two weeks later, I received a letter asking me to call them for 'further questions.' This is my money sitting in their low-interest account, and I need to link my new account after my previous one was closed.
I've been on hold for 1.5 hours listening to the same monotonous message. I hung up and called another number, only to hear another frustrating message for 15 minutes. I tried a fourth number, and still no human answered. Thankfully, I had the foresight to withdraw all my savings before they closed down their physical branches. The service has significantly deteriorated compared to the past.
Their phone system frequently disconnects, and the chat support is ineffective. As an online bank, their technology is lacking. I'm attempting to increase my credit card limit before a holiday, and the issues I've faced with this bank are both comical and disheartening.
They have eliminated all their branches and ATMs. I just waited 45 minutes at a post office in Perth to deposit $200. It's outrageous, and there's no reason to stay with this bank now that they’ve also removed international transaction options.
I made three long calls regarding setting up a joint account, and at no point was I informed that my request was impossible. However, on the fourth call, I was suddenly told I couldn't proceed. I received conflicting information about joint accounts, and after delays, I was ultimately told I couldn't open the account. They mentioned that if they had a physical branch, they could assist better. This was incredibly frustrating and a waste of time.
