I stayed in Tampa for a few weeks and needed a place spacious enough for my wife and kids to join me during their visit. Unlike a hotel, the apartment offered a full kitchen, washer and dryer, multiple bathrooms, and a nice gym and pool. The apartment was in a safe, gated community in Westshore. My only minor complaint is that parking can be tough to find if you return later in the evening but overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back.
Excellent accommodations! Clean comfortable furnished apartments! Beautiful pools, very accessible fitness center and clubhouse.Friendly responsive staff, excellent grounds and maintenance crew! This is our second stay and we plan to come again!
If you need long stay or several days accomadations, consider The Medley rental through Barsala. The unit is clean and convenient, if you need to be close to the Cleveland Clinic. Oh, the grocery store on the first floor is great. I had no need that required contacting Barsala but did receive excellent check in and check out instructions.
I needed a getaway time. And the barsala candos did just the trick check-in was good. The room was very nice. Spacious, the area that I was in was nice. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I would have given this stay a 10 11 12. The only thing was This weekend, the rates were fabulous every other time I go to book, they're a little bit high. Especially with me being a local, I just need a little bit of getaway time and sometimes I can't do a 150A night, but this trip I did 3 nights and it cost me almost 200 which that was great for all 3 nights. My trip was great.I will stay again. Thank you so much.
We had a reservation in Indianapolis at 9onCanal by Barsala between the 7th and the 10th of November 2024. The check-in was horrible. We paid in advance. We were asked when we would like to check in, and we picked the earliest time, which was 5 p.m. They sent us some link with a form to fill out, but it didn't work. After a lot of hustle, we got another link, and we were promised that we can check in at 5 a.m., but they went silent. I had to insist to receive the address and the code from the key lock, and we managed to check in somehow at 6 p.m. on the 7th of November, and we left on the 10th of November. The real problem occurred 5 days later. They falsely and illegally charged me 250$ on the 15th of November, without any explanations. I contacted them and they said the charge was for losing the keys. Even though, after some discussions, they admitted that they have mistaken me for another customer, and told me on the 16th of November that they will refund me, they failed to do so until now. They always came up with some lame excuse. It's already 2025, and they still keep ignoring me.
If I could give a zero, I would! I had a reservation booked via VRBO with Barsala in Tampa, Florida. The reservation was booked for over two months. We were so excited because my brother lives in the same complex and it was going to make our family visit so convenient! 24 hours prior to arrival, the nightmare began. I received a text asking to check-in for my rental and I happily did so. I received all the necessary information - i.e. the unit number, the key codes, rules, etc. My family was excited! Then I received an email from VRBO about 4 hours later (and less than 24 hours from actual check in) stating that my reservation was cancelled. No calls, nothing. Just a generic email from VRBO. I thought it was a mistake and called Barsala directly. How could my reservation be cancelled? It was paid in full and I just received all the detailed check-in info??The Barsala rep I spoke with didn’t have details regarding the reason my reservation was cancelled but she saw it was definitely cancelled in the system. I requested a new unit and she said that there was indeed availability so she booked me a new room. I asked for confirmation many times that I was good to go - and she said yes. She charged my credit card and sent me the confirmation email and recommended I check in immediately via text, which I did. All seemed good to go! Thank goodness, right?!? BUT, as soon as we landed at 2pm, I got a text saying, “we apologize but your reservation has been cancelled. We appreciate your understanding”. WHAT?!? Less than 3 hours until check in! When I got the text, I was literally walking to the rental car company at the airport. I was traveling with my mother and two children, both under ten! It was a complete and utter disaster. I called demanding answers, and nothing. All I got was that they were overbooked. I requested a call from a manager. All I got was a text saying sorry, they were over booked. To make a long story short, we finally found a hotel room - 25 mins away from where we intended to stay - and paid way more than we anticipated I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT AGAIN! I wanted to leave a review on Barsala’s site, but they won’t let you - not surprised! And I wanted to review via VRBO, but I can’t because they cancelled my reservation outright. I will say, Barsala did provide a full refund - twice. And thanks to VRBO, they are very accommodating for the mishap and are paying the difference in price (they’ve been great to work with). But it was a nightmare and Barsala provided no help or care in making things ok. STAY AWAY!
