Review Time
I love my new sneakers! I was concerned about not sizing down when I ordered them, especially after reading many of the reviews; however, I decided to order in my true size and they fit perfectly! My only disappointment is that I've noticed many indicate they received an extra pair of inserts in the box upon delivery, and that was not the case for my Reids (nor the Morgan Trainers I ordered at the same time). But overall, more than worth the wait!
DON'T DO IT!My initial order for one pair of shoes was in 2021. The order couldn't be fulfilled in the time they quoted. They apologized up and down, and offered a credit for their shortcoming. The credit is essentially the amount the shoes would normally cost, less the "join our email club" discount. I took the offer. Big mistake. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes with. One was the amount of the store credit, the other paid with a credit card. I sent one back expecting to have my card refunded. Nope! They refused to refund me MY money, saying that they get to choose which item i used for the store credit and which I used my credit card for.
Beckett Simonon makes some of the finest shoes in my closet. Their boots feature outstanding attention to detail and durability. Their loafers are well made, soft and good looking. Their customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. Dress shoes from this company seem a bit heavy due to the number of leather layers in the sole and heal. On balance, this is a great company and quantity shoe maker.
Ordered 2 pairs of shoes. Went through the standard manufacturing timeline over a few months. I received all the emails about the process, and honestly was very excited to receive my shoes, this looked like the holy grail - great shoes, great prices, great process, etc...I received the shoes in October, and both of them had multiple scuffs, marks, scratches and chips in the finish - I honestly thought they had been worn for months and then shipped to me. I emailed support - they were super responsive - told me that this "never happens" and offered their 120% guarantee if I would give them the option to fix the shoes. I agreed - they gave me a shipping label to donate the shoes, and they put in a new order for 2 more - so we started the wait again. I received the 2nd pair of shoes in Feb (8 months total wait now) and again, the shoes had multiple marks, scratches, scuffs and bangs. They looked like they were a display model in a very busy store or something - not something you'd expect that was made for you.If you're not overly picky, and want a good deal - I think that they look like well made shoes, and are a great price - but their quality control is awful, and if you're at all particular at how your shoes look, you should avoid them and 8 months of heartache. I'm so disappointed.
