One star is one star to many for a company like Bethesda! Every game they drop is a unfinished buggy mess only really playable years later thanks to a billion patches and the relentless efforts of the modding community.I recently bought Doom Eternal and my main campaign was missing, and it was not listed under dlc and just in need of being activated as several forum posts suggested. I though: Maybe I just bought a big dlc bundle? This turned out to be correct, ok then I will just buy the base game? But no, steam would not let me purchase the base game as it was apparently already in my library as part of the Year One Bundle? When I in fact needed to buy the base game, thus I went back and forth adding it to my shopping chart only to be told I already owned the product and subsequently removing it, after repeating this process about a dozen times something snapped and I was able to complete my purchase and finally play then game. One could argue that this particular incident mostly falls on Steam and their unclear marketing.But it doesn't change the fact that Bethesda's games are so shoddy that Steams support wont even deal with any of their issues, and just refers you to Bethesda's customer support.Bethesda supports response was to send me a generic pamphlet how to make the game work on different platform "make sure to sett the campaign dlc as active" derp! Wow, thanks Bethesda! Are you all professional morons or just a bunch of gifted amateurs?! Its not like it took me less than 2 minutes on the internet to see that this is a common issue with this game, but obviously not what I was dealing with. I was then asked to provide proof of purchase and such, that I did.They eventually got around to tell me what I had already figured out by then, that the steam store is a buggy mess, full of unclear marketing and that my bundle didn't include the base game. Regardless.This company truly does not care about its customers, nor the fans of the franchises they have acquired and subsequently debased beyond recognition over the years!Doom is the one franchise that has more or less stayed true to its roots, I suppose we should give them props for that at least.At this point dread the release of the next instalment in the TES or FO series.The last installments of these franchises are so detached from their predecessors that playing them is bordering on painful.
I can never really be bothered to review things, but the bethesda launcher is the most frustrating thing ive ever had to use, it doesnt let me even log in most of the time and when it does the games wont work and their website is beyond broken, sending you in circles that lead to broken pages or just their homepage, its a joke. Ive been waiting years to hopefully these bugs fixed but im done now
castrated fṳckers from bethesda cant make games. for example this shḭt "the elder scrolls online". you killed a npc, another shḭtty npc noticed it and you have a fine. all you can do is just to pay it. and this scum that witnessed your killing just continued to stay on its place and you can do NOTHING. kill this b1tch that witnessed you or something like this. no you almost cant kill anyone just because castrated fṳckers from shḭtty bethesda made so
I won’t purchase a game from Bethesda until they get rid of having to have the special little account to play there games. Nobody needs nor wants another account to keep up with. We already have online accounts. We can play games from any other publications without this. Just got doom eternal and just deleted it without even playing for this reason. Thankfully I got in on game pass. But I’ll never try another game from this while it’s like this.
I honestly was a big fan since back in the 90s. But the last 10 years is a downward spiral and it keeps getting worse. Fallout series was cool up until they dropped 76. Skyrim, I don't know what to think of this any other than milking a broken cow that's never been fixed and gets repurposed for every generation again with the same old problems. And now I'm playing Rage 2, a three year old game that's been sitting in it's mint package because I had so much other games to play first, and I don't know what to say anything other than it makes me want to rage. Bugs and Glitches that been reported since day one and haven't been patched three years later, sometimes rendering the progression of the game broken and you have to restart all over again because there's no workaround for them.This company is bloated with a belly full of lies and dumps on their fan base pretty much.
Skyrim Anniversary edition does not have over 500 prices of new content on creation club.They only give you only six mods.You do not get the wild horses content,you do not get alternate armor.You just get the fishing,the dwarven mudcrab,horse armors, survival mode,and the theives guild grey fox quest. That's it,Sick and tired of Bethesda lying to their customers about it.They lied on most of it!
They have sent police to my home 3 times and discriminated against me because i'm mentally handicap my two accounts on eso was banned after 7 years and over 25 thousand hours in played time and 100s of dollars spent they don't care about their players they just want your money and don't care about your experience or how they treat you their currently under investigation by the Maryland commission of civil rights for discrimination against ppl with mental handicaps avoid this company pls if possible instead of trying to talk with me about my accounts they just block you from their twitter support over and over they close out your tickets with no response given then threaten harassment charges if you try to get someone to speak to you
