Great games but frustrating issues persist

I really enjoy the games from the company, especially the series known for its post-apocalyptic setting, but I dislike how they frequently launch incomplete and problematic titles. A prime example is the latest installment. I manage multiple accounts on a gaming platform, two of which have a subscription for a year, and I occasionally extend others to access features from the seasonal content. However, many issues remain unresolved for years, as long as players can't benefit from them. I personally avoid exploiting glitches or using anything outside of standard gameplay, but it’s quite frustrating. I subscribe not only for the storage space and other perks but also to see improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, it seems like their main focus is on profit. The in-game store rarely offers anything fresh; instead, it mainly presents minor cosmetic updates, hinting at a struggle to create new content. New downloadable content is often riddled with bugs, and some older content still requires attention. It’s annoying to have to create new accounts due to the limit on character slots, rather than providing more options. The fact that players must pay for additional storage is absurd. Many, including myself, would gladly pay for a membership solely for better fixes and maintenance—the storage and tent features are valuable. Additionally, the absence of shared storage among characters is quite frustrating. I’m fed up with losing items due to glitches or dropping things only to find they’ve disappeared after crashes. This shouldn’t be the case. I believe I should have unlimited storage across all my characters on one account, along with a shared common storage. I also recently discovered that the company made light of a tragic event, which is quite upsetting. I don't follow television or social media, so I was unaware until now. Making fun of someone's passing is simply unacceptable. Disappointing choices like this reflect poorly on the company. I don’t harbor hate towards anyone; I just dislike poor decisions that negatively impact others. Despite everything, I genuinely appreciate your games, but as a long-time supporter, it feels like profit is the priority. Please address the issues and give us something to be proud of once more!

Fallout 76: A Love-Hate Relationship

I have a deep appreciation for the games from this developer, particularly the Fallout series, but I often find myself frustrated with their tendency to release incomplete and buggy titles. Fallout 76 exemplifies this issue. I manage multiple accounts on a gaming platform, two of which have a subscription for additional benefits, and I occasionally extend others to access seasonal content. Yet, many problems remain unresolved for years, especially if they don't impact player earnings. I don’t exploit glitches, but the situation is disheartening. I invest in the membership not just for perks, but to see improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, it feels like profit is the main focus. The store rarely introduces fresh content, leaning instead on minor cosmetic changes to existing items, indicating a lack of new ideas. The new downloadable content often comes with bugs, while older content still requires attention. I dislike needing to create new accounts due to the character limit, as more slots would be preferable. Paying for extra storage feels excessive. Many players, including myself, would willingly pay for a membership focused on better fixes and maintenance. The absence of shared storage among characters is also frustrating. Losing items due to bugs or game crashes is unacceptable. I believe there should be unlimited storage across characters on one account, along with a shared stash. Additionally, I recently discovered some insensitive comments made by the company regarding a public figure's death, which is highly inappropriate. I don't harbor hate, but I strongly disapprove of actions that harm others. Despite my frustrations, I still enjoy the games, but as a long-time supporter, it feels like profit is prioritized over quality. Please make improvements that we can all be proud of!

Pay-to-Win Mechanics

The game feels like a pay-to-win scenario with the subscription model. After already paying for the game, you’re expected to spend an outrageous amount each month just for additional storage. It's outrageous.

Potential Wasted

I genuinely wanted to enjoy titles like Fallout 4 and Skyrim, but the experience has been quite frustrating. While there are some enjoyable moments and ideas, constant bugs and crashes detract from the fun. The support system seems almost non-existent when issues arise, which is disheartening. It seems the company isn’t dedicating enough effort to resolve ongoing issues. There’s promise here, but recommending more than a couple of stars is tough at this moment.

Some Improvement Noted

The company is making progress. While still not great, there appears to be more effort being put in.

Trust Broken

I feel scammed by the company over the past couple of years, and the recent release of a special edition was the final straw for my trust.

A Company in Decline

From classic titles like Arena and Daggerfall to the latest releases, it feels like there has been a significant decline. It’s been years since a true sequel, and the nostalgia for earlier games is overshadowed by disappointment. Remastering older games seems to be the focus instead of creating new content.

What Happened?

What have you done? Why ruin the game with updates that only lead to more problems? This is unacceptable, and I’m done with your games.
