I made the mistake of ignoring Bethesda's reputation for producing buggy games due to the press around Starfield which suggested it was a finished and polished game. What a joke. This game is so buggy it's unplayable on Xbox--complete hot garbage. Meanwhile their devs are out arguing with people leaving negative reviews on Steam. So I decided to go back to Skyrim but this greedy company decides to do an update that LITERALLY NOBODY asked for or wanted so they could add more paid content. This is once again causing problems for load orders. Bethesda is a subpar, outdated company that produces broken games and shows contempt for its customers at every opportunity.
I like owning physical copies of my games. If I love a game I'll go out and get the Game of the Year edition to get all those sweet, sweet DLCs.I was shocked, and angry, to discover that the 2nd hand copy of Fallout 4 Game of the Year edition is just the core game. The DLC only comes as a downloadable code.I'm pretty sure this would be considered fraud in my country. The item is not what is described.So now I own two copies of the base game. The only difference is I ended up paying 3 times as much for a different cover pretending to be something more.So long Bethseda. That is BS. I'm done with you. After watching the disappointment that is Starfield its clear youre more interested in pleasing shareholders than actually being a competent creator and distributor of content.Date of experience: 15 November 2023
This company has the worst customer service They will literally ignore and if pressed, they just shut you down.I payed they extra for special shipping so I could encapsulate the item. They took the extra money and just threw the product into a box loose.Of course it showed up damaged and scratched to hell.They continue to avoid my requests for refund or exchanged.This company is as shady as they get.
Be careful you get banned for no reason. - So even if you have Fallout 1# you don't get a refund for the month your account is "4:8:2000" in my country it's theft, you should be ashamed Bethesta..due to your amazing service and friendly support I am now finishing my Fallout 1#No kind regardsMichael Bak
Honestly I invest my money into new vegas for it to be the most tedious game ever I’m talking the dead money add on is absolutely terrible it lacks so much I hated it so much I’ve run into a invincible deathclaw the game is ridiculous
I’ve been a huge fan of yours since I was a young kid. Elders Scrolls Oblivion will likely always be my favourite game of all time. I have worked past your failures with the almost unplayable fallout 4 (due to bugs) and lost interest entirely in Fallout 76 (again due to bugs) and still praised Bethesda. Not to mention the deal done with sony that I cannot purchase your old games without paying for playstation plus premium when I only want to play 1 or 2 really old games of yours this is disgusting. Your move to produce Starfield exclusive to XBOX & PC has taken it too far and I want you to know that you have lost an all time gaming fan. I am not the first nor will I be the last. It is obvious that the love and compassion has diminished in a number of your recent games, other producers like Rockstar who you used to content well with will absolutely destroy you in all aspects of gaming modern day. It’s a shame that you have moved in the direction that you have and this is the Bethesda of today. I will no longer be supporting or purchasing Bethesda studio games any longer. It’s also likely that we wont ever see ES6 as all you have to show in 8 years is a 20 second teaser trailer. Your standards have slipped oh so far, and I don't see yourselves coming back from this.
