Well after having my account hacked then being told there is no way they can figure out who the account belonged to. I was basicly told to F off. They refused to talk to me on the phone and asked questions like.1. What was the date the accout was created? 2. What were dates of purchases on the account. How am i suposed to remember the account creation or purachase dates of an account close to 10 years old?Even though i gave them:My account ID.My email Address. My First and Last name. This company let somone hack my account and change what they wanted with only an email saying there were changes made. WTH Bethesda? Worst customer suport from any company ive ever had.
I purchased Rage 2 for PC from BETHESDA.NET. After redeeming the code. I downloaded the launcher app which also did not provide me with a link to download the game. I've rcalled the first of two numbers which are labeled incorrectly. the phone number is listed as the fax number and vice-versa. I actually believe is done on purpose. I called the number and got no answer so I left a message. There should be something on the launcher app that says download game.
extremely slow working softwarethe last Wolfenstein Youngblood Deluxe Edition and DOOM Eternal were the worst games I bought last two years it was impossible to redeem - the game code wouldn't recognizeit was impossible to get supportno games review availablewill never buy any products with Bethesda label
So I have never trusted Bethesda as a company knowing their recent history with making cash grabs of games and failing in customer service and support and countless bugs. Most recently my mom of 58 years almost 60 was recommended the game by people who plays with her on other app games that are similar to the mid-evil fantasy genre. I knew for a fact that she played it more than I played Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Over 10k hours.) She made the mistake of purchasing items from the game it’s not my money so I can’t have a say. She is the most kindhearted and generous moms I have ever met and ever had and has gotten everything I asked for when she had the money inside her shoestring of a budget. She is now disabled and retired from being a Vet tech and is living off what the government gives her.Recently she wasn’t able to join the arenas giving error codes that the servers timed out and the “support team” told her to bind her game and re-install the game which caused her to be locked out and unable to switched back. She had completed all of the story and was working on her trophies when this happened. She now has to restart because of this and me not knowing of the company that was running this game made me upset because I knew I could of stopped her from making the worst mistake possible by trusting Bethesda. All we wish is that her account is restored. Knowing Bethesda won’t ever refund the money she spent.Anyway I’ve gone from knowing of there suspicious activity when it comes to developing games to knowing what they did to me and my family and I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by the way they treat their customers willing to give you money and not giving them a proper support team.I’m sorry but whoever runs Bethesda I hope you get thanos snapped.~Zinco “Michael” Drone (Son of a Scammed Customer at the wrath of Bethesda.)
I purchased Fallout 3 Goty edition. The game just wouldn't start after clicking new game. After submitting a refund request, they came to the conclusion that since my pc met minimum requirements (even thought its UNPLAYABLE) they couldnt give me a refund. This is the worst experience I've had with any developer and I cant believe they wanted to keep $25 so badly. This is unforgivable and definately puts a dent in the way I view bethesda games as a whole.
I've purchased many Bethesda Titles (TES V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout 4, and Fallout: New Vegas) and my personal experience with them has been great. The games are well developed and well built. However, the publisher behind them is slowly becoming more and more focused on creating greater revenue than pieces of art that do homage to their fans. I'm not saying that they shouldn't make a profit, but more recent titles like Fallout 4 have seen them attempting to throw in microtransactions and a 'Creation Club', to make more money rather than helping fix the game or expand its slightly disappointing story. Fallout 76 only proved this, when developers were rushed to release the game for, as you guessed, greater profits. The game used the same engine as Fallout 4 and was a clear 'cashgrab', having multiple issues that violated consumer rights.I'm grateful that Bethesda took The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises to the levels they are now, however I'm concerned that the greatness of these games will fall to repetive design and writing. Not only this, but Bethesda also try to trick fans, as they raised the price of the DLC for TES V: Skyrim and then took down the listings of both the base game AND the DLC, forcing many new players to purchase the £30 'Special Edition', taking away the ability for new players to just play the base game for £10.Lastly, Bethesda has appalling customer support. Bethesda's AAA titles are famous for their bugs and glitches, and while they can be amusing most of the time, they can also render the game unplayable. After encountering an issue in Fallout 4 that made the game extremely difficult to play, I sent a support ticket despite Bethesda's website trying to redirect me to unhelpful 'help pages'. I then found another issue a week later with TES V: Skyrim's Hearthfire DLC, which made the major feature of the DLC unplayable and broken. It has been nearly a month now, and I have no reply.Bethesda need to accept that their image is dying, and if they don't act soon, the boycotts and bad reputation will only further harm their company to the point where not even the extra Skyrim Special Edition VR paid mods profits will be able to save them
