Review Time
I agree with the other recent review on here, something must be going on at the moment for Jenny to be anything less than her usual brilliant self. I emailed them this week as I wasn’t sure if their website was down and Jenny replied confirming that they were temporarily closed. I’m sure as soon as she is able to Jenny will be back up and running and will let everyone know what’s going on. Please have kindness and understanding, it’s not easy being a small business owner and not having the back up of other employees. I look forward to being able to purchase from Billow Fabrics again once they’re back up and running as their service has always been amazing.
I need to desperately place another order of felt for my orders, but have had no reply to my emails, and cannot see any products on the website.Has anyone else had any response from this company, or had any answer as to where they have gone?? If not, does anyone know of any reliable felt supplier and could help to recommend me?!
Please don’t give Jenny and Billow fabrics a bad review. I have used her felt for years and years and she’s been amazing and reliable. I fear something has happened for these problems and the site issues to be happening at the moment. I hope she is alright?
Wishing I’d read the reviews before I placed an order. My experience is identical to those logged below. Placed an order almost two weeks ago…no sign of it and no meaningful response from Customer Services. I was initially provided a tracking number but Royal Mail unable to trace. Last two emails to the company remain unanswered. Having paid almost £100, I am incredibly disappointed and will be seeking ways to redress. My best advice is to avoid this company and go elsewhere as they seem unwilling/unable to despatch orders or respond to emails Ps - have since raised dispute via PayPal. When I tried to contact Jenny at Billows via email, my email was bounced back as her registered email address was ‘not found’
Like all the other reviews a placed an order which took an unusual amount of time to come. So I wasn’t pleased but when it did arrive the items were lovely so I have tried to order again and their website is not working and I am getting no response to messages. I understand if you are inundated with messages of have website issues but maybe an announcement on the website would help answer people’s questions? But now I have read other reviews I think I will steer clear
I've had the best experience with Billows over the last 6 years, my go-to fabric shop, with the fabric often arriving next day. However, my last order I had to chase and it took almost two weeks to arrive, which was very unusual. Currently there are no products on the website. I emailed to chase an order, but had no response. So I raised a PayPal dispute and Jenny replied straight away to this and refunded me. Fingers crossed the shop will be back up and running soon : )
I have ordered wool felt for the last few years from Billow fabrics with no problems at all. But my last order placed over a week ago hasn't arrived, I've tried messaging but no one has answered so I'm guessing maybe they are not trading anymore but would be nice to know before you pay for an irder
Similar to other reviews left for this company I also would NOT recommend them to anyone. Their fabrics certainly do look lovely on the site and I’d have loved to receive mine but I never did. I ordered on Etsy and waiting almost 5 days over predicted delivery dates to make a request for help from Etsy and was granted a refund. But it was silent from the company, no one responded to any of my messages on their site or on Etsy. Although their site is very polished they clearly need better communication with clients or at least to lay out some expectations if they are inundated with orders.
Placed and paid for an order on the website on the 12th. Radio silence since then... I know this is a small business and I would understand if something happened making it hard to send the order or causing a delay. The issue is that nobody is letting me know what is going on and my messages are ignored. Come on!
